Great pads, especially for heavier trucks
I can't say enough great things about the Hawk LTS pads. I got about 70k miles out of the first set, on power slot rotors on a Ford Excursion. I'm a pretty hard driver, and really hard on brakes. Once burned in properly (critical to follow instructions and do it right) they stop incredibly smooth and progressively quicker on high speed/rapid stops. No fade whatsoever, just progressive bite. That's unloaded which is about 8k or towing which is about 16k. On hard stops I find myself backing off the peddle pressure as the brakes do their thing coming to a stop.I'm on the 2nd set, rear are the same rotors, and the fronts are new only because I damaged one of them, otherwise I would have simply replaced pads and moved on for another 60-70k miles.During certain weather, you may hear a squeak or 2 which is normal. These pads have a blend of materials that's a balance of powerful stopping (as with large trucks which can squeek like crazy) and lighter trucks/cars that use material to reduce/eliminate squeaking. I can't imaging running anything else.

Get these! They are awesome!!!
Finally brake pads that worked, and lasted, for my fat beast! We put these on our 2000 Excursion diesel and hit the jackpot. They are now the only brake pads my husband will buy.We live in hills and curves plus tow regularly. Our trips to the coast and mountain campgrounds include more hills and curves. With OEM parts we used to eat brakes (pads, calipers, and rotors) every 12-18 months (~12,000 miles). Using all Powerstop brake components we upped that to 18-24 months (~20,000). Then, we replaced the Powerstop pads with these green Hawk Performance pads (keeping with the red Powerstop rotors and calipers). We finally found THE combination for heavy vehicles like our Excursion. The picture we included is of these pads after 16 months of use. (We had to replace the front brakes because a sneaky, sticky caliper roasted the left front.) The Powerstop set included pads but we will absolutely be switching back to these green Hawk Performance pads in about 18 months.Try them. You won’t regret it!

Best pad I've had
Great pads. I've used them all from racing, to towing, to everyday driving. I use these on a 1 ton truck that I use to tow heavy. They last long, don't create too much dust, don't excessively wear the rotors but are a expensive for a tow vehicle. Would I buy another set? These are the second send I am putting on this vehicle. Worth the money, but I think they could be a little cheaper. 5 stars for performance. Only a 4 due to cost. Best pad out there.

Excellent Braking
Heavy duty, right blend for moderate towing coupled with daily driving. Have used several times over life of 99 F250 Super Duty.

Defective - Too fat and drag brakes
I ordered pads for Ford SuperDuty in March and just got around to installing them. They are too thick! I found the brakes drag constantly. Hawk says they are supposed to be .700" thick with up to .710" tolerable. I pulled them out and measured and found they are over .742".Amazon won 't will accept a new item return - but not pads that have been driven a mile or so since they are used.LATE UPDATE: After I submitted the above review but before it had been posted by Amazon a supervisor for Hawk emailed an apology and said they would stand by their product and send me a new set of pads. He said the customer service person who had initially handled my case had miscommunicated Hawk's policy for Amazon purchases. I suppose all's well that ends well. Now waiting for the pads to show up.Hawk won't replace them since Amazon is not an "authorized" dealer even though they sent out a defective product.I'm stuck paying for unusable parts. If you buy these you should get out your calipers and not assume that Hawk has any quality control. I already know about their integrity.

Work great in the mountains with a Ford F350 Super Duty
I've had these on for about a month now with about 3000 miles worth of hard mountain driving on curvy roads and steep 4 wheel drive crawling. They work great and so far have experienced no fade at all. No squeaks or squealing either. I burnished them to the pads following their websites instructions to try and get the most out of my investment. Amazon had the best price I could find anywhere. I tried Autozone's best and they only lasted less than 30,000 miles for about the same money. I've got these on just the front right now.

Bestest
Big, heavy truck? Here you go. Yer welcome. In my experience, these are WAY better than anything from PowerStop, and are measurably better than the EBC equivalent.
