It doesn’t feel cheap at all and seems very durable, even with regular use.It does a great job at smoothing and combing hair, making it easy to achieve that clean slick-back look for different hairstyles.I also really like the pointed end of the brush—it makes parting your hair super easy and precise, which is a nice added feature.Another plus is that it’s easy to clean and maintain. The size is just right too—not too big or too small, so it’s comfortable to use.Overall, I’m really happy with this brush and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, effective styling tool.

No hair pulling. The boar bristles work well to straighten out the frizz. I hated the plastic brushes with plastic bristles and wound up melting them with my blow dryer. You can't go wrong with this type of brush. The bristles are soft enough to not scratch the scalp and it is easy to travel with.

I had high hopes for this boar bristle brush, but unfortunately, I couldn't even use it. Before putting it in my hair, I gave it an initial wash as recommended for many new brushes, and the amount of shedding was shocking.Bristles continued coming loose during the wash, and I was concerned about having them end up throughout my hair and bathroom. The shedding was so severe that I lost confidence in the quality of the brush before I even got the chance to style with it.Because of this issue, I can't really comment on how well it performs as a slick-back brush. A brush shouldn't be losing this many bristles right out of the box. Very disappointing experience.

I like this brush; it was a good find. I was looking for a replacement for another brush that I bought that was too abrasive, but I don't have that issue with this brush; it is just the right amount of toughness without sacrificing your scalp and edges. I have used this brush on myself and my daughter, and it works well.

In my opinion I feel that this brush is a little too stiff. The bristles can feel a little too harsh in the scalp.
