Great low power 12v heater for enclosure
Great little heater! I was surprised by the amount of instant heat this provided on 12v. As long as you know what this is and aren't trying to heat a room or something inappropriate for a 100w heater, if you need a small heater for an enclose: this is a great deal! I hooked it up to a temp switch to take the edge off the freeze for my enclosed camper waste tanks.

2 1/4" square
I measure 2 1/4" square but that is just what I need under the drivers side dash. (no room for a hose now with gauges I installed.) Good for a bit of thawing before the car warms up. It does ok for its size but it is very small so it will not warm the whole car. It is quality made.

Need a box to mount it in, bought electronic box from amazon
It works for what I needed it for. It's not a lot of heat but I needed something to keep my water pump in my camper from freezing, 12 volt and max 10 amp (My pump is mounted outside the camper in a compartment). Compartment is approx. 3'x2'x2' and does the trick. I even attached a thermostat. Cost about $60.00 when all done and took some work but I'm happy with it. It was 14 degrees out this morning and in 100 minutes in heated it up to 34 degrees. If it was left on it would easily stay above freezing and I'm guessing would get up to about 50 degrees. Bought two and made a spare in a box without thermostat if needed. Just added cigarette plugs to each and added a receptacle to accept them in the box, wired staright to batteries. Good luck

Doesn't Work. Cannot Return.
Even under bench conditions, this fan puts off so little heat you can rest your hand on the heater coils and barely feel anything. I did not see anything in the description saying no returns, but you cannot return this product. It's a good little fan, but a worthless heater.

NO INSTRUCTIONS at all!
NO instructions. Works when connected to separate power sources (not very practical). Used too heavy of wire, got smoking hot very quickly (literally). Used too thin a wite, no juice. Used battery terminal connectors of a smaller size and heater works great. Connected fan separately and it worked also. Hoping it will work for a different purpose than planned.

It just works.
It's a simple heating element. I use this element as the main piece in a heater unit to keep my 3D printer at a constant, elevated temperature at about 33C. For this purpose it has worked very well and I have gained a great deal of trust/confidence in the unit. My duty cycle is about 20 seconds on and maybe a minute or two off when it is just maintaining temperature, so it does not get run too hard. It has been reliable and still working well after being in operation for a few months now.

Seems overpriced for such a tiny heater
I bought this to use as a very low heat (26ยฐc) for a very small reain 3d printer chamber. This heater is very small and requires the purchase of a controller board and a 12v 10A power supply, which brings the total up to about $50 for such a small, simple task. I feel this little heater is probably worth about $10, but the market use for resin printers is driving the cost up to $20. Not thrilled with the price point.

Just a little heat
This does exactly what it promises (except itโs a bit over 100W). 100W isnโt a lot. Itโs basically an incandescent light bulbโs worth of heat. Iโm using this to dry a hockey gear bag in my car. Iโve connected this to a cigarette outlet. Itโs great! Just the right level of heat to keep things dry without getting too hot.

too small
nice but way too small

Not 100w at the wire.
BEWARE - Whatever the heat it produces, the power at the wire is 160w and not 100w. This should be disclosed as 160w is way too much when you are expecting 100w. Also, they specify to use a 12A fuse and since 12v is usually closer to 13.5-14v it means 160w at the wire, which is exactly what I mesure, but a fuse should allow for about 25% overhead so they specs are really not good. Also, the wire is so, so, so tiny to cary out the power that it becomes really, really hot. Not the type of device I would run unatended like my setup is requiring. Despite that Amazon did reimburse the first unit (admitting that a 150w unit could have been shipped), I will have to also return this one as it's more a product-specs issue-error than the product itself (apart from the fact that I would not trust the wire). ** Also, the heatsink will not stop if the fan dies-breaks and that would become a major fire hazard since your fuse may not blow if the unit is not consuming more than what your fuse is rated for, but the product itself maybe melt or catch on fire if the fan is not moving air out of the heatsink. Save yourself the headhaches and chose a better product. Be safe.

model #, technical/electrical specifications NOT provided with product.
Upsetting, tedious, and time consuming to track down product # and electrical specifications to confirm heater will work properly in my application.

Great little unit
I used this in a small enclosed space to keep my SOK Lithium battery warm. Used in combination with an auto temp shutoff (really important so battery does not get overheated).
