SOLIX F3800 Power Station with Expansion Battery and 400W Solar Panel

Took six days to almost fully charged with solar panel, which doesn't exceed 50% of the 400 Watts it is rated at, and the expansion had an 86% charge from the box. Image how much longer it would have taken to achieve 98% charge if it was nearly drained. It only took an hour to totally drain and only added 15 miles to the Chevrolet Volt. I been trying to get Anker to replace the solar panel since it doesn't perform, but they keep asking for ridiculous things from me. One is a freaking video that will not attach to the email due to size.

Everything arrived on time,well packaged and undamaged. This unit powers my home when grid is down. There are a lot of videos on this product and I suggest checking them out if you're interested in this system. I'm interested in purchasing Ankers 405w rigid solar panels in the future to take advantage of fast solar battery charging for this unit. There's nothing like being able to have lights,internet, TV, refrigerator and heat when the power goes out. I also want to use the the F3800 to save money on my electric bill by using it during electric companies peak billing hours.

If I could give zero stars I would. This machine is horrible. We purchased it for thousands of dollars to include the anker solar panel. The solar panel will not charge the unit. We’ve tried multiple cords and even contacted customer service who sent us a new unit. We’ve purchased 2 other solar panels as well thinking it might be the panel. Nothing will charge this unit except for being plugged into power which defeats the entire purpose of having a solar generator. Very upset with this set up.

The F3800 is excellent. I would recommend getting the Automated transfer switch and making and appointment with an electrician. I was able to run a Wormdrive circular saw and it had plety of power. The battery life is excellent and the system can be expanded if you need more. I would start with this and grow as your needs increase. The app allows me to easily see the performance of my F3800. I'm thinking of purchasing the 3800+ to allow for AC usage will charge from solar.

The solar panel was delivered separately from the battery packages. When it finally arrived, it is not working at all. The customer service people agreed to replace it. But I have to wait again for the new panel delivery. Btw, the battery is too heavy for one person lifting. Pulling around is ok. ——2 weeks later——- The new solar panel is still not charging. Customer service suggested maybe the XT-60 portal on the main unit is not working. So I have to wait for the replacement 3800 unit again. This is super annoying.

If you are on the fence about buying this product or any other from Anker, you can buy with confidence. We purchased the 3800 power station bundle. The customer support team is phenomenal. As a novice that knew very little about power banks and solar power, I had numerous questions. The customer support team is ready and very patient when answering questions. Additionally, I had an issue with my solar panel. The company took care of it promptly and made sure that there was very little inconvenience to me. Although this is the way all companies should handle things, we all know that they rarely do these days. I can’t speak enough about the personal service I was given. As for the 3800 itself, I really like it so far and will update after I have had a chance to use it a little more. Don’t hesitate, buy it. You have a five year warranty and a company that stands behind their product.
