I like this flux. It says it’s no clean but I still clean it off anyways. It doesn’t get dark and brown like some others do but it still obviously leaves a sticky residue behind if you don’t clean it off. Alcohol works best to remove the flux residue. The solder wick works well too though it’s a little smaller/narrower than I was expecting.

I've been using new solder to wick into solder pins to add fresh flux into the pins to desolder and remove components for a very long time. That works great but adding flux alone and not adding more solder material is even better! The flux pen tips supply exactly enough flux for small jobs, and the solder wick is just an additional perk with this kit as I only needed the flux pen as I usually use a solder sucker to remove solder. I'd buy this kit again if needed it's well worth the cost for the value.

The desoldering wick and soldering flux paste worked great. The paste made the desoldering wick work awesome. I was able to change out 4 parts with no issues. Each part desoldered fast and didn’t stick at all making the work painless and actually fun.
