I have a reactive large dog with a physique similar to a grey hound. - fit: the only harness I’ve found that can fit her weird physique, the only one I could adjust to her neck, chest and waist. Easily adjustable to accommodate winter gear as well. - security: there is NO WAY she can escape this thing once adjusted properly - comfort: it seems very comfortable, she wears it on road trips and doesn’t seem to realize it’s on her. She doesn’t get bruises even when over threshold and lunging wildly. It doesn’t restrict her joints - high quality: has held up to a year of LOTS of lunging, running through grass, jumping in mud, cold, heat, you name it. - lightweight: strong but light as a feather, air dries in a couple hours, with no staining I must add. - force free: it has no martingales or aversive features and has enabled the best results with training - the colors are so cute, I get compliments all the time. Love this harness and will purchase from this brand in the future. Great product, thoughtfully engineered by people who clearly love and understand the needs of dogs and their guardians.

I purchased this harness in a small for my beagle boy. I was concerned about the fit because his chest (girth) measurement is 22 inches, right on the borderline. I followed the chart, sized up to a small as directed, and got a perfect fit with room for adjustment. Size chart is accurate. I hooked Jackson’s leash in the chest loop and I had far more control over him than when I used a loop on his back. That makes it a win in my book. I also appreciate the lift handle on Jackson’s back when he wears it. When he doesn’t want to walk, he drops to the ground. Now I can lift him by the harness and it is comfortable for him. He doesn’t like to be lifted but it doesn’t hurt him. Jackson has tried to take it off but he hasn’t succeeded. I don’t see how he could possibly wiggle out of it. The harness looks good. It’s fairly lightweight so it won’t be as hot as some of the others. It is light but is feels sturdy enough. I will come back and update if I have any issues or learn more about it. At this point I’m happy with my purchase and purchase it again if this one disappeared.

Best harness for any dog. We had a rescue that would escape any harness and this one was absolutely perfect so I ordered a newer for our most recent rescue. It's much lighter than the web master harness so if you want something a little more structured and sturdy that one is great. This one is perfect for everyday use, especially for dogs who like the water or mud. It's adjustable at 6 points making it great for any breed of dog. We have used this on our staffy/pitt mix, one who is deep chested and another who is a bit smaller. The front clip is great for anti-pulling and the back clips are great for running. It does not rub or cause any irritation and doesn't move around on the dog when they are wearing it.

I am NOT someone to write a review. This is an absolutely phenomenal harness. I have an Italian greyhound and they are known o not fit the “norm” this harness is SUPER light, adjustable in all the right places, and great quality. My iggy clearly loves to run - this harness will not rub or cause restriction at all; the material is strong but not rough to where I would be concerned with chafing of any kind in any place. On top of wonderful performance, getting the job done, and being of quality… it’s CUTE! Easy to size and put on! 10/10 I am truly not bothered by the price for what we received. My greyhound truthfully moves COMFORTABLY while wearing it.

About a month into use now and I love this harness, I love my dogs as many of you do and spent a very long time researching harnesses and looking for one for my 2 strong and sometimes reactive dogs, I live in Arizona and summers here are absolutely BRUTAL, one of my dogs is all black but thankfully has short fur and the other has medium length fur (he's a cattle dog for reference), I've had issues with harnesses in the past, my main issue not being that it couldn't hold my dog back but that it was extremely uncomfortable for my dogs especially the one with short fur, lots of the harnesses would rub under her armpits and also she would be able to "back out" of the harness when she was being very stubborn, so I wanted something strong durable and also comfortable and not too hot for my dogs, at first I was looking at tactical harnesses from all sorts of brands with double buckles but lots of them seemed that even with the mesh along it, they looked super hot and heavy to wear for my dogs which I didn't want since I wanted an everyday harness also, I was struggling and struggling and after googling and a few tik Tok videos showing me how Y shaped harnesses are the best for dogs as to not constrict the chest and cause muscle and joint damage, and also that the shoulder blade should ideally be completely free and able to move, so no fabric covering shoulder blades (lots of the tactical harnesses I was looking at had this so scratched them all completely off the list), after a bit more research I found this brand through multiple pet parent recommendations online and liked what I saw when I looked through, this harness was most of the things i needed,/wanted (no product is ever going to be PERFECT), it's got lots of room for shoulder blades so they can run and play with out restrictions and it's got a third strap so they can't back out and escape as easy, plenty of armpit room, and nice thin lightweight but durable fabric to support, also it has a handle which comes in super handy. its super versatile with how much you can tighten and loosen them, at first I thought it was too small and then my fiance loosened it all the way and it was actually loose on them and then we adjusted! Sizing is so versatile would definitely recommend to any dog parents who are struggling looking for THE perfect harness!

I was having a difficult time finding just the right combination of features for supporting my elder Bichon mix on his walks and for his weakening legs. I’d been leading him by his collar, which was fine when he was strong and cognitively healthy, but recurring strokes have messed with his body and his mind. He needs to be guided more, he’s unsteady on his legs and he’s begun to fall back on his own poop when squatting and sometimes even falls over from that position. I wanted a harness that wouldn’t be too bulky or heavy, allowed me to lead him without undo tugging on his head and legs, and that allowed me to exert upward lift when he squats. This harness is lightweight, well-made of durable fabric, and superbly engineered to offer several means of support. Because he is unsteady and often sits stubbornly when I try to put anything on him, the fact that the yoke of this harness goes right over his head and then can be hooked up via the quick-release straps on the sides makes it really easy to get it on and off him. I also especially like the main leash ring located more centrally over the back as opposed to the shoulder area because it doesn’t cause as much pulling at his front legs as most other harnesses do. There are also other attachments. I haven’t used the chest loop yet and not sure why that might be desirable, but it’s there. There is also a loop at the back of the harness that may come in handy for adding a lift strap as his squat instability worsens with age. Then there’s the very cool handle in the middle of the harness which enables me to give a quick assist getting up and down steps and curbs and could also be used for additional lift in the squats. And, there are handy little strap keeper pockets sewn in so the excess strapping (if you have it after fitting) does not flap around or need to be cut off -- now that’s class! My only complaint, and it’s hardly that, is that the fit could be a bit better. I bought the XS which is as small as this harness comes and it’s still a bit loose in the yoke fully adjusted. But hey, it’s an “off-the-rack” product and short of engaging a doggy tailor, I don’t think you could ask for better adjustability than this harness offers. Lightweight and comfortable, check. Quality materials and construction, check. Multiple well-thought-out support options, check. And let’s not forget the lovely teal color! My little guy and I are very happy with this harness.

I have a rat terrier mix and needed a harness that was essentially escape proof. She’ about 28 pounds. I have a fenced in yard, but when she stays with my parents, she has a tie out (they sit out with her), but when she sees a squirrel or rabbit beyond her reach, she will turn around and back out of her harness. She has a Gooby harness, which, contrary to many reviews is easily escapable. (It’s an otherwise fantastic harness). I’ve been through a few harnesses, which are wonderful for walking, but can easily slip out of with a little effort. I was going to get a harness/martingale collar combo, but her neck is bigger than her head, she ends up biting at the collar. I have no issues when I walk with her, this is needed for just hanging out when at someone else’s house when necessary. The ruffwear Flagline absolutely fits the bill! She has yet to escape from it. It’s a fashionable choice, too, I love the pink with the blue. Fits her well and she can easily potty in it. It fits over her head, so be sure your dog doesn’t have an issue with that. I tried the Ruffwear web master as well, as I was worried about the flagline being kind of one piece. But I found the flagline fit her much better and was easier to get on. Plenty of padding , looks comfortable, and as most ruffwear products, very durable. Functional.

I absolutely LOVE the Ruffwear Flagline Harness and lead. It’s durable, secure, and super lightweight, which is huge for hiking in the Sonoran Desert. We use it for hiking, swimming, and paddle boarding, and it has held up beautifully. The handle is one of my favorite features because I can safely help my dog over rocks, through water, or back onto the paddle board when she needs a boost. Lightweight, tough, and adventure-ready. Highly recommend! I thought the bright pink was going to be too much for my tastes…but it’s grown on my and I love the color now!

After doing some research I bought this for my dog who is a front leg amputee. Every other harness tried slipped to one side or even forward. The flatline stays in place perfectly. It’s lightweight, easily adjusted for fit and comes in some really great colours. The handle allows us to easily help her jumping out of the car in a way that is comfortable for her and us. I will be buying a second at some point.

Assolutamente fantastica. Vale tutto quello che costa. Resistente, leggerissima, sicura (non si sfila in nessun modo). Presa per la mia cucciola di 9 mesi con un passato difficile, mai stata al guinzaglio e spaventata da tutto. Cercavo una pettorina che non fosse ingombrante per lei, dato che non è abituata, ma che fosse anche antifuga e antipanico. Questa è perfetta. Leggera, facile da mettere, facile da regolare. La maniglia sulla schiena permette di fermare il cane quando è necessario. Ha aggancio del guinzaglio sia sulla schiena che sul petto per abituare a non tirare. Facile da pulire. Insomma costa parecchio ma per me vale ogni euro
