What is the difference between this product and Simply Saline Adult Nasal Mist, Allergy and Sinus?

I've always tilted my head sideways (left for the right nostril, to the right for the left one) The first time I got it the instructions included this. I like the Original slanted nozzle and it makes the head tilt easy. I'm not sure how well the new stouter, straight-up tip will reach high enough to actually reach the sinuses.  I've done one side and waited a bit and I actually have a bit coming from the opposite nostril (just a salty drip or two) which reassures me that it's doing it's job. Before this I  depended on Pseudoephedrine Hcl for a chronic runny nose from multiple environmental allergies, including my cat. I take generic Zyrtec, which limits the reactions, but does nothing for a runny nose. Zyrtec-D has all of the same restrictions as the "D" (Pseudoephedrine Hcl, 12 hour) because it's used in the production of crystal meth. In my  state any product containing it must be gotten from the  pharmacy, show ID, and sign for it which gets entered in a state wide data base so multiple purchases can't be made.  For the 12 hour type you can get 20 for a 14 day period, which is only enough for 10 days. This is much simpler. I've only used the Original and it does stop the "allergy drips".  I've never used it for a cold, but the I haven't had one all winter, ever since I started using it--- Hmm......coincidence?  I didn't even know about the other versions until very recently. I'll stick to the Original as long as it keeps working so well.

I can't seem to get it just to mist and moisturize my nostril area,it just runs straight out.Do you hold can tilted or straight and head straight just

To get it to just mist to moisturize your nostrils, hold your head up, insert the nozzle into your nose, and push the trigger with short bursts while you inhale through your nose. Use a strong enough inhale, like when you're trying to get a decent whiff of something. That will get the mist up into your sinuses. It doesn't burn like getting water up your nose. It only makes my nose run if I was already congested, but that's good, it's supposed to loosen up the congestion. I use this from fall to spring, and it really helps relieve my sinuses from dry cold air!

Does this have baking soda in it and does it have the long nozzle like in your picture?

I got the giant size and it appears to have baking soda (listed as sodium bicarbonate).  I have the Nasal Mist and use it everyday.  I love it.  I no longer have to use prescription nasal sprays and I am very clear now, even all night!!  Yes, it does have a long nozzle on it and it is quite comfortable to use.  This is great.

Mine runs out my nose. Is this supposed to mist?

It's a mist going in. You can verify that by squirting some into the air.
You are not expected to "put your head down"  as another person says, to do this. 
It's far from a waste of money, PeninTx. If you do it 1-2-3 times per day, like upon getting up and before going to bed or when you get into the house from outdoor chores.
If you are prone to sinus infections, congestion, and flares, you will surely reduce your incidence of them if you are regular and persistent in your use of saline nasal irrigation.
NEVER us with tap water, mind you. Better to use the premixed packets to the correct strength per measure of clean water than to guess and mess around with salt, which is no longer recommended, whatever people of a certain age did as children "sniffing up salt water" for congestion. Today, it's distilled or boiled water only. Use the saline mix packets. They're inexpensive and convenient. I prefer the bottle to the "pot" if I use anything other than this mist version. 
Read the literature on the hazards of tap water and incorrect saline solution, available in scary detail all over.

Please check our this answer to another questioner: Some is going to run out. Gravity does that. The path into your sinuses is not straight up. Insert the nozzle into your nostril so that you angle the business end where the mist comes out toward the outside corner of the eye on that side of your face (same side as the nostril you are shooting the solution into). If you use a saline bottle with purified water, it's the same: you angle the nozzle toward the outside corner of the eye to get the solution up into the sinuses. After doing this you can hang down as if you were going to touch your toes (if you can do that safely) to get more solution up higher. Some will come out when you straighten up. I've been at this for over 20 years with one appliance or another and it will curb your sinus problems enough to make the trouble worth it is my experience.
