After years of travelling, using earplugs at night is no longer just a necessity, it's an unbreakable habit. Up to now, I've been burning through 3M disposable plugs but, trepidatiously, had to give these more long-term plugs a go. Immediate plus points, aside from the swish little carry case, is the ease and comfort. They slipped in easily and are super comfy, even with my ear flat on the pillow. A definite step up from the oft-uncomfortable 3Ms. The comfort is the biggest surprise as they just don't look comfortable. I can barely feel them. Obviously, of as much importance as the comfort is the effectiveness, and I have to say they do a good job. They're definitely not as effective as a fresh 3M plug pushed all the way in, but they take the necessary edge off. I'll typically only use them at night when the world outside is quiet, but they still do a good job of cutting down the ambient noises in the room and outside. My partner only purrs when she's asleep, and these are enough to remove that. Same for dull traffic noise. I'd imagine daytime sleeping or ungodly snoring would need a proper 3M backup option. Overall, really pleasantly surprised they're the real deal. 5 stars because they fit great, are comfortable and do a great job with ambient noise and are enough to take the edge off at night for someone who simply can't sleep without plugs. Building work, crying children, noisy neighbours, partner snoring might be considered out of their range.

Bought these for my son who is allergic to the sponge type yellow and pink ear plugs that I use. They have really helped cut out the traffic outside and most noise from the street and neighbours. Although I used them I found them to be slightly itchy which was a surprise as they are hypoallergenic. I went back to my old ones but would still definetly use them if needed.

They are incredibly soft and appear durable however they were hurting my ear on first attempt and thus I decided they were not foe me.

Bought these instead of the silicone ones (that can be molded), as I thought it might be better for my ears but they are really not very good. They do not block out any noise and fall out of the ear almost immediately. Frustrating and a waste of money.

Soft and comfortable

Honestly... If you want a good night's sleep with 0 interruptions then I highly recommend these foam earplugs. I have noisy neighbours and was getting fed up of being woken up. I have the in-ear noise cancelling plugs but they made no difference. These earplugs actually work.. they are similar to the ones I use to use for work at concerts. Once you've rolled them and held in place for 30 secs they will give you a great disturbance free nights sleep.
