Super Fun!
I homeschool my younger two daughters, and one of the things I've definitely struggled with is finding fun options for them with PE activities. I don't want to skip over that part, and I want them to have a blast. Obviously I don't have a colorful parachute- yet- but I have built out a small home gym with a bowflex, some convertible weights that can turn into dumbbells, barbells, and kettle balls, yoga swings and mats, ballet bars, etc. The point is, I try to give them lots of variety, and keep them active even if they're homeschooled. When I saw this mat, I knew it would be great for doing yoga outside, as well as gymnastics and other activities. This would give them a good space to do more safely.I thought it was really nice that the mat came with repair supplies and its own pump. I'm of the belief that you can never have too many pumps. It was very easy to set up, and get started on.My kids really enjoy doing gymnastics activities and yoga on this mat. We try something new every time, and we are always looking for more ideas. But they do always wind up asking if we can do some yoga or some gymnastics. This has been such a great addition to our supplies to keep the girls active while they are schooled at home. They've been having a blast on it! It almost looks like it might be able to go on the water as well, and I think I'll probably try that next season when we set the pool up. If it doesn't work, no biggie, it's not going to ruin it and we'll get it straight out. But in any case, they're having a blast. If you have a kid who loves bounding around or just needs some padding outside for their physical activities, this mat is definitely a winner. My kids love it and I feel so much safer with them on it with some of the activities we do. We were on the grass before and it's not that we were doing anything unsafe, but you just never know. Sometimes the padding just makes things a little more safe.

Sturdy and space-saving!
My almost 12-year-old daughter's been working on her splits, overall flexibility, and tumbling skills to supplement her taekwondo training. We'd previously been using the purple padded mat that you see on the side of our photo, but it was taking up just about the entire space of this room. I ordered this tumbling mat to see if it could be a good fit for her purposes, even though she's getting longer and taller, and I'm delighted to say that it is! I love that it's got a center line marked on it already so that she can maintain good form in her splits (she was previously using a strip of blue painter's tape on the purple mat). I also love that this tumbling mat can be easily moved to a different room using the handles along the side. It can also be stood on its side to lean against something, or deflated and stored away if we're in need of using the space it's currently in. At 4'10.5", the mat is long enough for her to do a cartwheel without going off the end. The mat is nice and sturdy when fully inflated. It makes an interesting sound that trips my dog out when you walk across it, but it's not loud. As you might expect, the edges and corners give a little when you walk on it, but most of her routine is done right in the center of the mat, so it hasn't been an issue. There's velcro across the short ends which we don't love, but I guess it allows you to connect another tumbling mat to it if that's something you need. The mat inflated super quickly with the included pump which was surprisingly powerful. You use the larger tube attachment and rotate it to lock it in while it's blowing. According to the instructions, you can't over-inflate the mat, so I just let it keep inflating while I get my hands ready to make the quick transition to cap the valve. Really impressed with this high quality mat and happy to get to retire the other one to save some space along the sides of our room!

Great deal on an inflatable mat w/pump
The really budget friendly part of this setup is that it comes with the pump you need to inflate it. You may already have one from something else but I've been really impressed with the one this ships with so you may like it better. Our daughter has a portable bar that she loves playing on but we wanted to make sure we had something under her for her safety. This is great because we can blow it up when she's using it and then it rolls up relatively small when we fold up the bar and put it away. Considering this all occurs in our living room, it's nice to be able to make it all disappear when not in use!

It's super functional for gymnastics at home or paddleboard on the lake!
Our daughter loves this air mat. She's on a gymnastics team and likes to practice on the weekends with this mat. It's long enough to do simple moves and exercise while she watches a show -- but she needs our 20' trampoline for the more serious practice. We really like the electric pump that comes with it as well... It pumps up this mat in like 30 seconds and can also be used on our inflatable paddleboards. We now use this pump over the giant T-handle pumps that came with the paddleboards. Speaking of paddleboards, while I haven't tried it yet, but it seems that this mat can also be used as a (sketchy) paddleboard, or a hangout pier in a pool or lake. It is thick enough (4") and long enough to float and hold up multiple adults. It would need to be pumped up hard, to around 10PSI to used as a paddleboard. But the mat's ULTIMATE use might be gymnastics exercises while floating on the water!
