First time eating Korean food for me and this was pretty good!
I don't have much experience with Korean food as I haven't had any before.I'm happy that this was a vegan package because otherwise I would not have been able to try this. You're supposed to put each package on top of your rice as you're cooking it and this allows the vegetables to essentially get rehydrated and the flavors will mix with the rice. Normally, I make my rice in an instant pot so this time around I had to do it on the stove top. It worked pretty well, although it's not normally a flavor profile that I would otherwise eat.Preparing each vegetable package was pretty easy, and honestly, I didn't even know that dried vegetable mixes were thing period I think this was a pretty unique way to store and mail vegetables to be included in your food dishes. I'll definitely be trying more of these, although I do have to make sure that they're vegetarian/vegan. This package is vegan so I'm happy to see that. Each serving comes in its own individual package. I didn't realize that a person thought I had to open up all of them but that's not necessarily the case. Since these are dried vegetables and are crushed anyway so even if they come a little beat up in the packaging--although mine were not beat up--then it doesn't really matter much because it's going to go in your food anyway and get mushed up with the rice.I added a bit of hot sauce that I had lying around on my own because I didn't have any other sauces to go with the junju bibimbap that would be cuisine appropriate.

Better than expected!
This was surprisingly delicious! I didn't expect much, but my mom was really craving sanchae bibimbap so I got this as a last resort since I don't live near any place that sells the fresh vegetables. Don't expect a fresh vegetable bibimbap since this has to be cooked with the rice in the rice cooker, but add a little sauce, mix it together and you've got a quick, tasty Korean meal.

A nice change of pace from plain jasmine rice.
We often eat plain jasmine rice as a side dish, so this was a nice change of pace. We added it to four servings of rice in our Instant Pot with an extra 1/4 cup of water and it turned out just right for our needs; neither too soft nor too firm. We added sesame oil and low-sodium soy sauce and just mixed it together in one pot. We found that it needed no sauce when combined in this way, but it might be good with some chili sauce or something similar. I'm no super-culinarian, so pairing sauces is not my forte. None were included in the packets since they were simply dried vegetables, but we used the QR code to go to the site where a few recommendations were made along with a number of recipes to try.I'm not in the habit of using dried vegetables, but the combination in this kit was compelling and did not disappoint. The combination of texture and color was pleasing and nothing was overwhelming. The quality of the dried vegetables does seem to come through in the rehydrated product. We were impressed as there was very little loss of the product through breakage and rinse-off.Most of all, I enjoyed the simplicity and convenience of the packets; just open, rinse, and add to whatever you are cooking. We are going to try adding it to ramen noodles next since the combination sounds good and I think the veggies will elevate a quick lunch into something vaguely nutritious. Who doesn't enjoy a good bowl of ramen?

Delicious, smells good, and attractive food
The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was how good the dried vegetables smelled. They look good, and were very clean. I had a hard time following the instructions, because they were mostly in Korean, but there was an info card in English that suggested I use a rice cooker or hot pot...which I have neither. So, I just went stovetop with it.I made some white rice to go with it, and eyeballed the vegetables to see when they were done....and it was DELICIOUS! Very attractive meal too.I'm a little put off at the price though, considering it contains only dried vegetables (for only three servings).....no seasoning packets are included. I LOVE trying new foods, but when "foreign" dishes don't include the seasonings I feel like I'm missing the whole experience of trying a delicious "exotic" meal I've never had before. I ended up "Americanizing" this beautiful Korean meal with seasonings I have on hand....salt, pepper, black Sesame seeds and avocado oil. I truly wish I could have tasted it the traditional "Korean style" way.Overall, this is a very high quality dehydrated vegetable mix....good flavor when reconstituted. It would have been a pantry staple for me and my family though, had it also come with traditional Korean spice and seasonings packets. I would have rated it a five for that addition.

Super convenient
I love Korean food but have dietary restrictions so it's not always easy to get something from a restaurant for me. I ordered this three pack of veggies with the intention of making myself a vegan soup with these vegetables, a packet of Asian soup base mix, and tofu skins. I ended up adding some mixed veggie powder and a little rice too. It was very easy, just put it all in the pot, bring it to a boil, and simmer for fifteen minutes. The result was a nice, thick soup. It was very good the first night but naturally even better the next day. These packets are a nice assortment of pre-cut Korean veggies and make a lovely addition to a soup. I went to the website using the QR code on the package and looked for other recipes. Since I have two bags left I'm thinking of making a stir fry next and see how that turns out.The individual bags keep your veggies portion sized and fresh until the next time you want to cook. They are easy to rehydrate and blend with other things. They had a good flavor and I look forward to trying the recipe I liked on the company's page next time I use them.

Great tasting Korean dried vegetable mix
We love to try different foods and have some Korean dried vegetable packets before. However, this set has a few different vegetables in it comprising the mix. While the directions are in Korean, we have familiarity with using things like this so it wasn't difficult for us to figure out. However, there is a QR code that one can scan to view the instructions in English. After rinsing/rehydrating under water, we used this to add to our rice. The flavors of the vegetables came through nicely. It was delicious and made a complete meal once we added some egg to it. The texture of the rehydrated and cooked vegetables is what one would expect from this type of packet. While the picture and directions indicate cooking it with rice, we did use one of the packets for a ramen dish my wife made. This was actually our favorite way to eat these dried vegetables. The flavor of the broth was delicious, very earthy and light. The biggest drawback is the price because it is on the high side.

It's ok
I was eager to try this because I enjoy watching some of the Korean and Japanese channels on youtube. The only instructions understood were to place the vegetables on top of your rice while cooking it. Since this was a Korean product, I assume the meant to use it with my rice cooker, which I don't have. So the first attempt I placed the vegetable in a soup thermos, poured boiling water over them and put the top on. Waited a half hour. It worked ok although the mushrooms seems a little chewing. The next try I just boiled them while cooking noodles. Again, probably wasn't long enough.I would say the product tastes ok but I'm not sure I would order it again. For one, it's very expensive for what it is. Secondly, the taste profile - perhaps it's the chrysanthemum leaves? but I'm not really sold on whatever that flavor is.But for long term storage and convenience this is a great option. I just wish it wasn't quite so expensive to for what is really a small amount of food.

Neither salty nor spicy, each packet goes nicely with 1 cup of dry rice for 4-5 servings.
I made 1 cup of jasmine rice this evening (4 servings or so), mixing bone broth, rice, and a tablespoon of butter together, then adding one packet of these dried vegetables to the top as the mixture came to a boil. This was followed by 15 minutes of simmering, covered, and ten more minutes off the heat before taking the lid off and fluffing things up. Everything came out perfectly, and the content of one of these packets is just right for that amount of rice. The taste is quite mild, and I'll use the leftover rice with vegetables as a base from which to make fried rice tomorrow night. Neither salty nor spicy, the contents add a splash of color and taste. From Korea, the packets are rather costly but otherwise make rice more interesting.
