A 1-1/4” rubber sleeve will fit a 1-1/4 PVC pipe! A 1-1/4” PVC pipe has an OD of 1.6” and the sleeve has an ID of 1.6 “ so it fits perfectly over the pipe. It works that way with all the sizes - the PVC’s OD is ALWAYS the same as the sleeves ID. PVC pipe is sold based on it’s ID and it’s OD is always more. Fittings, connectors and sleeves are always sold by the size pipe they are meant to fit (typically slid over) so will have a larger ID than the pipes announced size. Ex: 1-1/2” PVC is 1-1/2” ID but 1.9” OD. You would need to buy a 1-1/2” rubber sleeve (with an ID of 1.9) to fit over the PVC tube! Don’t complicate it any more than the manufacturers already have! Pipe is sold by their ID and fittings are sold by the pipe size that they fit.
