What plant light would fit on the 7 gallon tank?

I'm using a light that clamps on the top edge of the glass. It arches over the tank and flips up out of the way when necessary. I think the clamp would be more secure than a clip on.

Are these tanks durable? Any issues with them breaking or shattering overtime?

I will have had mine for 5 years in Feb 2019. No chips, no cracks, no leaks, no issues with silicone (hopefully still does as well now as it was when I bought this). Tank is still in use as live aquatic plant betta tank. Have enjoyed it and rescaped with new plants many times.

What is the thickness of the glass?

0.25" I've had mine for over 4 years. No issues. Though price has increased since I bought it..
