NYX Professional Makeup Buttermelt Powder Blush, Blendable: My Butta Half

I absolutely love this blush! The colour is beautiful, blends effortlessly and gives a natural, healthy glow. It’s highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way, and it lasts throughout the day without fading. The packaging is cute too. I’ll definitely be buying more shades.

Wow. I am actually blown away by how much I LOVE this. I’m a huge blush lover (hello blush blindness!) and I’m always on the hunt for new products! This is under £10 currently and I must say NYX new collection is blowing me away. The consistency is perfect - creamy but buildable, not sticky or difficult to blend. A little goes a long way and this colour is stunning, perfect for my skin shade; it’s the prettiest pink with a very subtle sparkle added making this perfect for your cheekbones. Simply gorg! They have a few other colours which look cute but probably wouldn’t suit me as they are much brighter - this one already is quite bright. This lasts well without cracking or caking. My new fave blusher, especially for popping on my bag and use on the go! Grab this before it’s done, or the price rises!

Very cute pigmented blush, packaging is slightly hard to open with short nails. Perfect shade and great finish.

I love this blush. It is very pigmented and lasts all day. I have applied it on my face in 35-degree Celsius heat and it survived. It’s easy to apply, stays on, and complements my dark skin tone.

Very pigmented, almost too much for me. You will need to be careful with it if you're very fair, but it's a lovely shade when dosed correctly. I like that the compact is sturdy. My blushes/powders will often lose their lid with regular use, this looks like it won't or at least like it would last for longer. I almost wish there was less of it as I already know I won't use it up.

Pigmented but very pretty shade and truly buttery. Product will last a long while. Has a lovely creamy texture when blended and a subtle shine. This range is also very versatile in terms of shades and colours — I always find it very difficult to find the right shade match for blush, these will work well for many skin tones.

I’m really impressed with the NYX Buttermelt Blush. The texture is incredibly soft and smooth for a powder blush, and it blends effortlessly without looking patchy or powdery on the skin. The pigmentation is definitely there, so I only need a small amount on my brush for a beautiful flush of colour. I especially love how buildable it is. I can apply a light layer for a natural everyday look or build it up for a more noticeable, fresh makeup look. It blends nicely into my foundation and gives the cheeks a healthy pop of colour without looking heavy. The compact is also cute and easy to carry around. Overall, this is a really good powder blush if you like a smooth, highly pigmented formula that is easy to work with. Definitely one I’ll keep reaching for in my makeup routine!

Okay, I absolutely love this blush! I got the shade “Feelin Butta” and the color is a bit different in person that in looks in the photos. In the listing photos it looks like a warm coral or terracotta pink, but in person it looks like a much more muted dusty mauve rose. There is a slightly warm brown or terracotta undertone that does not show in the listing photos at all. Definitely deeper and not as coral. Plus, it has a slight shimmer or luminous sheen finish to it. Not glittery or metallic, but more radiant and satiny than the listing makes it look. The sheen reflects the light beautifully and gives the color a slightly pearly rose appearance. I actually like the true color of this blush a lot more than what I originally thought it was going to look like based on the photos. This is the color of blush I usually gravitate towards, so it worked out perfectly. And the texture is incredible. This is a powder blush, but it has almost a creamy buttery powder feeling. It’s so pigmented too, so you barely need any to get a really pretty flush. But it is also buildable to get exactly the color you want. I am obsessed with this blush I actually have bought like 4 more colors already, plus some of the bronzers. I would a million time recommend them! Just look at some review photos, or maybe look at the actual colors in store first, because I have noticed that most of them look different in person. I will update this review with some photos of the other shades I have as well so you can see what they look like. And, you really can’t beat the price, so they are absolutely worth it! Trust me, you will fall in love.
