The Accidental Holiday

A romance which touches your heart!
There are certain books which are treasures to keep and this is one of them. A beautifully woven romance combining subtle wit and humour amidst the backdrop of a delightful plot which grips you from the very first page till the last, I just could not put the book down! The idyllic setting of the holiday destination was the perfect place for everything to fall in place but it was not until the very end that one could sit back and smile with relief and contentment that love had truly blossomed and was there to stay!Making a career has become a prime driving force in today’s world gaining precedence over following one’s passion and dreams. But Mimi, with her inimitable lucid style and insight has revealed that hopes and dreams can come true if one only believes in them.

A cute premise for a holiday romance.
A fun read with a cute, if unusual, set-up for a romantic comedy. How would you handle it if your dream vacation suddenly disappeared before your eyes and everywhere you turn your vacation is being enjoyed by another person? The author did a great job of creating a multi-layered story about two totally different characters. I loved the character of Maya and enjoyed the slow burn in this picturesque holiday setting story.

Loved it, from start to finish
Absolutely loved this book, nothing to dislike, fantastic storyline, great characters and the best ending!! Would love for there to be a follow up to see what happens next for Maya and Alex 🥰

Okay.
This novel was okay. It was my very first summer vacation romance novel and I am now sure this subgenre is probably not for me as I expected. I live in the tropics so there is nothing exciting about summer because it is always summer where I live. I liked that there was no spice and everything was clean and, in some ways, wholesome. Sadly though, I didn't feel any chemistry between the love interests. Even when they were being vulnerable with each other, I still could not connect with them. I was more connected to the vibes and people at the resort and the town. I am not tempted to read any other summer romance. Keep writing, Ms Deb. Your audience will find you and enjoy your work.
