The Pokano Fabric Hexagonal playpen by Tikk Tokk was a great disappointment. An earlier reviewer had commented that the playpen was designed such that tension during assembly made it impossible to assemble. In spite of that review, I bought the playpen, assuming that such a complaint could only be a one-off. Unfortunately, my experience was the same. The fabric of the playpen comes sewn in a ring, which was too small to fit over the frame. The quality of the stitching and fabric was very poor. There were no instructions of any kind included, nor was there any company contact information or warranty information included. The company's website did not provide any further guidance and there is no publically available information on how to contact the company. Despite taking great care during assembly, the poor quality and undersized ring of fabric panels tore during assembly, splitting the seams completely in two at two locations. The tension also bent the plastic poles and joints. In all, we spent 3.5 hours attempting to assemble this playpen before the damage forced us to give up. This was an expensive purchase and it appears the company is charging a very high price for a sloppily constructed product in order to maximize profit at the expense of the customer. I returned this product and purchased the Joovy Room 2 instead. The Joovy set up in less than 5 min (simply unfolds, no assembly required) is of quality, safe construction and comes backed by a warranty and dedicated customer service from the manufacturer. Finally, the Joovy Room 2 is only about 3 inches smaller in play area than the Pokano, and much sturdier. It was also less expensive than the Pokano, even including EU import duties. I am well satisfied with the Joovy Room2 and want to warn you all not to waste your time and money on the TikkTokk Pokano Hexagonal fabric playpen.

Absolutely terrible product. And I am not the type of person that writes many reviews or makes a fuss. Product arrived dirty, there were literally dozens and dozens of loose strands hanging off the material that had to be removed. There were absolutely no instructions, and the product proved impossible for myself and my wife to assemble. Basically one of the worst products I've ever seen and a complete rip off. I emailed the company asking for assembly instructions and received no response. Had to return the product. A disaster.

Not really portable or easily dis-assembled, but great as a secure, stable safe zone for the wee one. Base is padded and the sides made of mesh
