Lacks STUD on back which tells computer drive is INSTALLED which DVD drive haspurchased one with stud which is RECOGNIZED

Delivered item works, but is not what was pictured.
The item delivered is not the one pictured. The delivered item is also missing the trim plate to match up with the T410. Without the trim plate, the caddy has an indentation or hole on the side of the laptop.So this was an add on item, but the item should still match the picture.

Fits well and does its job
Fits in perfectly on my Lenovo T420s and does not look out of place. The caddy came with a screw driver so you dont have to search for one. Once the screws are fastened and the drive looks pretty stable and survives any shakes from moving the laptop around.

It runs perfect. I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was. Just popped it in and it worked.

Installed a 2.5" drive and my laptop recognizes it. If you care about looks this is ugly as it s missing the outside "cover" (not sure what to call it). Essentially it is not flush with the dock.

Exactly as expected. I've used similar caddys in dozens of Thinkpads and they're a solid choice for adding a second drive. Easy to install (just like everything with Thinkpads) and decent enough quality. They're all pretty much the same, I'm quite sure they come from the same manufacturer so just go with the cheapest one for your laptop

Different than as pictured. The HDD Caddy Adapter that is shown does not have screws in it. I wanted that one but was sent the other version that has 4 screws to secure the hard drive. At least it still fits my T400.
