Great recipes and photos! So many goodies to try! Just wish I lived close to the bakery.

This book seems to have some great recipes. The problem is that I love cookbooks that have photographs of EACH recipe. There were no photos for the first 65 pages in this book. Despite interesting recipes, I returned because of lack of photos.

This book has the best banana pudding recipe ever!

We, the wife and I, have made several recipes in this book for various people and all have commented on how great the treats taste. Each time, I tell people to order the book for themselves, they won’t be disappointed!

This is a great product The cookbook is a great price the pictures are beautiful the recipes are easy to follow it's a great Christmas gift birthday gift or even an anniversary gift I love this cookbook I even got it for Christmas for someone

Gift for my sister but I think she will love it.

I saw this cookbook in a bookstore and promptly purchased it off amazon that evening. I have since made several items in the cookbook and have enjoyed most of them (although, surprisingly not the cupcakes. Mine turned out dry. I'll keep trying though). The brownies I've tried have been spectacular and they did not last long at all. I really only have two complaints: First, none of the pictures line up. There are several pictures of treats, but you won't find them on the same page (or even near the same page) as the recipe. So if you see a picture you like, you have to scramble to find the recipe. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. My second, and most significant, complaint is that the recipes repeat themselves! Page 91 and 97- same vanilla cupcake/vanilla birthday cake recipe. Page 92 and 98 same Devil's food cake recipe and another Devil's food on 104 that's only slightly different. 108/112 same chocolate cake recipe. And on and on. Sometimes the recipe is named with an icing (i.e., Devil's Food cake with Seven Minute Icing) and the icing is on a different page as well. I suppose I could see giving variations on the same page (i.e., "to make cupcakes do this:" "to make a 3 layer cake do this") but I don't understand why they decided to list the same recipes multiple times. I think that's in poor taste and it definitely discourages me from buying another Magnolia Bakery cookbook. If they ran out of recipes in one, why would I purchase a second one?

I love this bakery in NYC and was sure they wouldn't put the real recipe for their delicious coconut cake in this book. But I made the cake and it turned out tasting pretty close to theirs (not so sure about the filling, but I may have cooked it for too long).

Tiene muy pocas imágenes de las recetas terminadas, exactamente solo 8 hojas con fotos, solo espero que cuando las prepare realmente queden bien.

Sex and The Cityでとても有名になったN.Y.にあるマグノリアベーカリー。カップケーキ以外のレシピも載っていて、解説も分かりやすいのですが、他の海外のレシピ本と同様に写真がほとんど掲載されていません。本の表紙もセンスが良いし、N.Y.の店舗もとても素敵なのですが写真がほとんどないのは残念です。レシピはたくさんあり、お値段の割りにお買い得感がありました。写真たっぷりの日本のレシピ本に慣れてらっしゃる方、カップケーキ初心者向きの本ではないように感じました。

がっかりです。作る気にもなりません。本自体厚紙に印刷されていて、コミケの同人誌にも劣ると思いましたわ。アメリカ人ってこうなんですかね？

Bought it as a gift for my wife who is an avid home baker.The item came with a small damage on the side of the book. Nothing serious and concerning just a little mark on the edge of the pages.What we liked:- The book is nice, the print, the style, the font is good.- Quiet a number/collection of delectable recipes which is exciting to try. From frostings, icings, cakes, cupcakes, pudding, breads and loafs!What can be better/Nice to have:- Paper is too thin and delicate, easy to torn by accident- Too few photos of the recipe though, would be nice to have more photos of the recipe outcome so we would have an idea what it would look like if properly doneOverall we liked the book and cannot wait to try the recipes.
