Fantastic fitness tracker watch for 9 year old
Great little watch! Recommended by a friend who had purchased for her sons (6 and 8). Bought for my 9 year old son. Easy set up with app, allows you to select a watch face and up to 3 sports to track. We chose football, running and basketball, so with a gentle press of the button he tracks steps, heart rate and duration of these activities. It also has a daily step counter which uploads to the app dashboard - my son is getting quite competitive with beating his step target and it provides a really clear visual of the days spent on a device gaming compared to out doing sport. It also has the ability to set a drink water reminder and alarm but all notifications can be disabled on set days/times so it is silent during school. Great customer service too - had a small issue with charging and contacted Biggerfive team, they had it resolved within a couple of days and provided a replacement. Value for money is great! No calls, messaging, location tracker or games but for a first watch fitness tracker I canโt fault it :)

A fun and useful tracker for kids!
This fitness tracker has been great for my child! Itโs easy to set up and comfortable to wear, and my kid loves checking steps, activity, and sleep. The screen is clear and bright, and the battery lasts really well โ we donโt have to charge it every day. It feels sturdy enough for everyday use and has enough features to keep them motivated to stay active. A fun and useful tracker for kids!

Don't buy it
Don't buy this product. It didn't work, added an hour every time you charge, and the stopwatch didn't work either. Customer support is non existent, and you have no way of sending product back to get a refund. They may as well charge you ยฃ36 for a plastic strap.

Impressed!
My 9 y/o had a FitBit Ace 3 that stopped working, so this review is more a comparison between the two. Bought the Vigor 2 to replace the broken Ace3 and another one for my 6 y/o. The build quality is way better. It has a colour screen so that's a win too. The app is good and the installation and configuration was a breeze. No need to create accounts or anything, just create the child's profile and add the device to with that profile. You can have multiple profiles with multiple children. Ideal! Both my kids are loving it. This is a great learning opportunity for a ~6 year-old, it encourages them to learn to read time and to get a better grasp of 1 minute to a few minutes to 1 hour etc. It also encourages them to walk more and exercise as they love to see the step counter go up and they log when they get medals for their achievements, which are displayed on their watch as they earn then and on the app.

Good but the strap is poor quality
The watch itself is good and the features are just what we needed; step count, sleep tracker, heart rate etc. Fits nicely on 2 skinny kids wrists and is fairly simple to use. The app is okay but can only be connected to one watch at a time which is annoying when I have 2 kids with the same watch. The other annoying thing is having to reconnect it to the app once the battery has died to make sure the time and stuff is correct. Worst part, the strap is absolutely rubbish and broke within 3 weeks of use. We were them kindly sent a replacement strap only for that to also break within 3 weeks.

Not functional for heart rate readings
I got this for my son to set some fitness targets to get him moving. Itโs been fine for steps, but sometimes we just want to see what his heart rate is. It is really unclear how to do this and I canโt tell if itโs not working or it just wonโt do this function. We tap and hold the heart rate on the screen and the watch vibrates, but a reading doesnโt appear. I open the app and go there and although it says connected, no heart rate appears in the app either. I wouldnโt buy this again.

great first watch for kids
We got this watch for our daughter for Christmas. after a month of use I can say that it was a great purchase especially for the price. I mainly got it so she could use it as an alarm clock for school in the morning, and it works great for that. i set it on the app on my phone and it buzzes on her wrist and wakes her up. She has also been using it to track her steps (which is the cutest thing) and her water intake. we were able to set it to remind her to drink some water every hour, which is pretty cool. She loves it. it has a few different options for backgrounds, so she can make it how she wants it, and the battery lasts a good amount. usually about a week and half give or take a few days depending on how much she has used it and turns the screen on. she usually plugs it in whenever she showers so it never really dies. the band fits great. doesn't seem to bother her skin, and she has sensitive skin. She likes to track her activities, she sets it to dance (for dance class) and she will set it to running when she wants to reach her step goal. you get medals in the app for reaching different goals, so she likes trying to do that which is pretty cool. it is similar to the fitbit for adults but simpler for kids use. it also reads her heart rate which she finds pretty cool. Overall, I highly recommend it for kiddos who need/want their first watch but you don't want to spend too much yet.

Good for reminding kids
Bought it to discreetly remind a 6yo to go to the toilet, works well! (Max. 10 alarms) Didn't want it to be distractive and it isn't. Very cute. It lacks usb-c, analog watch and screen protection film. Would've been nice if the alarms could be snoozed. But overall very happy with it!
