I was skeptical about engineered wood furniture and the sturdiness of it, but have been pleased with the quality. Still not as nice as solid wood but the price is decent for this piece, and looks better than the folding table I was using :) Shipping packaging is very good, even with some damage to the outside box, no major damage to product. There are some small scuffs but not worth returning. Easy to assemble, just don’t over tighten the cams. I also purchased the matching accent storage cabinet and file cabinet. Same results- all sturdy items.

Beautiful Desk, sturdy and really good buy for the money. It was put together by 1 person in less than 2 hours.

I loved my desk, it had the perfect counter space for all of my paperwork and computer as well as storage space for folders and documents to be filed. The color was rich and satisfying as well as the finish. It was heavy once constructed but could easily be taken apart into 3 pieces to be moved. Very sturdy and easy to assemble!

Received the desk earlier in the day which was a nice surprise. My friend came to help put together. It took her and I about 3 hours - but a lot of that time was spent laughing at each other. I couldn't be happier with the color. It is a muted black almost a weathered look and I love it. It actually smells amazing too! One thing - as we got to the last piece which fits over the cabinet, we saw the piece did NOT have the pre-drilled holes! What a bummer that was to have gotten almost finished and then couldn't complete it. I called there customer service which would have been 7:10 EST. Even though the pamphlet said they were open until 7:30 pm, they were not. I called at 5 a.m. the next morning and they placed an order for the replacement part. Now, I just found out it is going to take 3-5 days to get the item, then FEDEX will take another 3-5 days to get it to me. So for now, I have "half" a desk. Still worth the money and I am very happy. I gave it 4 stars because of the amount of time I have to wait. But I would recommend this to everyone. (I got spoiled with Amazon overnight delivery I guess - and now expect it from everyone! HA)

So far so good. The desk was pretty easy to put together but did take some time. The desk did require 2 people at some steps. I think it took us about 2 hours to put the desk together. I left the having off of the drawer and cabinet to allow for wires. Also didn't install the shelf so there would be room for my computer tower and battery backup. My husband put the filing cabinet together by himself. It took a couple of hours and he said it was kind of a pain in the butt due to small screws and many parts. When putting everything together I did not notice that the surface scratches easy, which was a complaint I saw in the reviews before I bought it. Also, both pieces are antique white, not gray. This was another complaint I saw in the reviews. I do plan to always use a coaster though to avoid rings and warping. The desk and filling cabinet are sturdy and all drawers open and close nicely without any banging. I only installed hanging files in the upper drawer of the filing cabinet. I plan to use the bottom drawer for storage. I hope this review helps. I read them all before purchasing.

The desk is absolutely beautiful. I am thrilled! It took several hours to assemble but it went together very easily. The color and details are very nice. My only complaint was the shipping. It was estimated to be delivered about 2 weeks out. The hutch got here within 3-4 days. The desk was shipped out and said it would be delivered the next day. On the next day it got delayed and so on and so forth. It still made it early, but seeing it constantly delayed for delivery was frustrating. When it arrived the packaging looked rough. I think it fell off the truck and someone patched it up and sent it on anyway. However, when we opened it up the desk pieces were just fine. It was padded enough to protect it. I truly love this desk. I went ahead and ordered a cabinet to match.

I’ve been looking for a more professional but not ridiculously expensive WFH desk for a while now. This desk is amazing. I saw it first on Wayfair but Amazon was $100 less. It delivered a week earlier than originally estimated. It is prettier than I imagined. It took me 3 hours to assemble. I first laid out all the pieces in alpha order - so many pieces! The hardware was so perfectly organized in individual steps, so that’s a huge bonus. Definitely needed a second person as the steps progressed. The color is absolutely perfect. Plenty of room. I have 2 monitors for work on one side and my personal laptop on the other. LOTS of room in the drawer and cubby.

These Bush furniture pieces are so easy to assemble. I don't consider myself handy by any means and I assembled the L-shaped desk, lateral file, and book case entirely myself with a light hammer, phillips screwdriver and a pair of scissors. The book case came missing the plastic covers to conceal the cams and I just got off the phone with their customer service and it is EXCELLENT! These pieces are beautiful, well made (although very heavy) and gave my home office a professional look. Word of warning: You will need help getting the boxes into your house and opening them. (I think they use marine glue on them or something!) Also, they do scratch quite easily, so use care when assembling. I put a few scratches on mine by not realizing this in the beginning.

The desk and hutch surpassed my expectations. The assembly went well, taking about 4 hours. We switched around the hutch because it suited my room better. The hardware is lovely. It is absolutely stunning and I have had many complimentary comments. There was one piece that ẁas cracked. I reported it to the company to request a replacement part. Customer service was excellent. I received the part in perfect condition shortly afterwards.

The directions were so easy to follow and all the pre-drilled holes were in the right place . So easy to put together and good quality.
