Pricey, solidly built, heavy
I have just gotten this keyboard, and honestly, writing this review is part of my testing of the keyboard. My reason for purchasing this keyboard is that I had used a few Logitech home theater keyboards that had an integrated touchpad and rechargeable batteries. I loved the convenience of those keyboards, and other than some cheap folding keyboards that never worked quite right, I wasn't able to find anything similar until I saw this, and have been looking forward to the release. The keyboard is rather quiet, especially compared to the Kenisis and Kenisis Gaming keyboards. The keys are a slim design but still feel solid and register keypresses quite well. The build quality is quite solid - if I drop this keyboard, I think I would be more worried about damaging the floor than the keyboard. Bluetooth setup was quick and easy, as is switching between two computers at the flip of a switch. The caps lock and connection indicators are neatly hidden behind the touchpad.I will say I was surprised, resting the keyboard in my lap to use in a home theater or leaning back in my office chair was very comfortable. The split keyboard design does take a little getting used to if you are not familiar with their wired keyboards, however the split is perfect for use in the lap as it lets your arms be in a more natural position, making fast touch typing pretty easy. I was not expecting it to be so comfortable. There have only been two detractors so far, neither serious enough for me to take points off. The first is the weight. This keyboard is surprisingly heavy, solid aluminum build. When I said I worry about damaging the floor if I drop this 2 pound (seriously! two pounds!) keyboard, I meant it.The second issue is that although the trackpad is very smooth on my Windows 11 gaming PC, there is a bit of jumpiness when moving the mouse on my Windows 10 laptop. I used another bluetooth trackpad with both computers to compare and that did not have the same issue. Not sure if it is a driver issue, or setting that might be affecting this. All in all, this is a very nice, solid, well designed and well built keyboard. After using it for a few hours for work, personal use and writing this review, I am quite happy with it. For me, so far, it is worth the price.

This keyboard is almost perfect!
Let me start off by saying I love this board its amazing. If you are looking for a keyboard to use on your lap It doesn't get better then this (as of now). The idea to take the trackpad, split the keyboard and then take the trackpad and slide it right smack in the middle is genius. Its so much more enjoyable to type on a split keyboard on your lap as your arms don't have to go to one side or to the very middle. Now the star of the show? THE FREAKING TRACKPAD! The trackpad actually works unlike every other option either on the market or off the market. To my knowledge this is the only keyboard with a Windows PRECISION trackpad. Which means its actually usable from gestures to just scrolling or swiping it feels almost as good as a laptop trackpad. My only complaint is this doesn't come with a 2.4ghz wireless dongle. While it does come with Bluetooth its unusable on PC and I wish I could use this wireless. wit that said THANK G-D you can just plug this in and its perfect! So overall would I recommend this board for the price? 100% it does everything you want in a product like this and it does it really well.Hope that helps you make a purchase decision and Thanks for reading!P.S. I typed this whole review with this keyboard on my lap on my bed that's how good it is!

Stopped working. Replacement #1 stopped working. Replacement #2 stopped working.
If it weren't for poor reliability, I would give this product 5 stars. This keyboard is ergonomic, with responsive keys, and I can use it on my lap. It suited my purpose perfectly, except for extremely poor reliability. The first Form keyboard I got 9 months ago stopped being able to have the battery recharged within weeks of my starting to use it. I contacted the company and they replaced it. The replacement, which appeared new, started malfunctioning within a few months. The company again replaced it with a new keyboard. The current keyboard stopped being able to recharge the battery a few weeks ago; as I was sick of trying to get a replacement, I started using it wired 100% of the time. But this week, the trackpad stopped working, and now the keys on the left side of the keyboard (tab, caps, shift, control) have stopped working. I ordered a different keyboard, from a different company, today, as I don't want to have to go to the trouble every few months of getting the company to replace this item. And it's frustrating that I spent $200 for a product that gave me so much trouble and that I was able to use for such a short period of time.

Great typing experience; terrible touchpad experience
The keys and typing position feel great and the build quality is solid but the touchpad is simply not responsive or precise enough for daily use.I found that right clicks would not register nearly 1 out of every 5 times and fine cursor movements were often jittery. The touchpad is also too narrow for gestures that require a full swipe across the screen, e.g., navigating back a page in a web browser or swiping between desktops using four fingers. Most frustrating is that, at a half inch from both the top and bottom of the touchpad, there are dead zones that do not register any touch. These dead zones are not disclosed on the product page or in the included documentation. They’re also not physically or visually distinguishable from the rest of the touchpad; there’s just an invisible, intangible line where the touchpad does nothing. As a result, it’s very easy to slide your finger into a dead zone causing your cursor to stop or dart sideways while you intend to move it downwards.I wanted to love this board and gave it the benefit of two weeks’ daily use, but it was ultimately slowing me down.
