A Solid Investment for Your 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning
Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover: A Solid Investment for Your F-150 I recently installed the Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover on my 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning with a 5.5-foot bed, and I'm thoroughly impressed. From the initial purchase to the final installation, the experience was excellent. Seller and Shipping: The seller's communication and service were top-notch. They maintained consistent contact, providing reassurance and offering assistance if needed. Shipping was prompt and the product arrived in excellent condition. Installation: Let's be clear: this is definitely a two-person job. The sheer size and weight of the cover, combined with the detailed installation process, necessitate teamwork. The instructions and accompanying videos were helpful, but required careful attention. I found that pausing and rewatching the video instructions, especially during crucial steps, significantly aided the process. A well-organized workspace and a patient helper are essential for a smooth installation. Remember to remove all the shipping material from the inside of the rails and cover. Product Quality and Performance: The cover itself is exceptionally solid and feels incredibly premium. It's noticeably heavier than expected, which speaks to its robust construction. The matte black finish looks fantastic and complements the truck's aesthetics perfectly. So far, the cover has proven to be completely waterproof, even after several rainstorms. The included drain pipes for the tailgate area are very long, requiring some potential trimming to fit perfectly, but they do their job. Pros: Premium Quality: Heavy-duty aluminum construction feels durable and looks great. Waterproof: Effectively keeps the truck bed dry in rainy conditions. Secure: Retractable design provides excellent security for your cargo. Aesthetic Appeal: Low-profile matte black finish enhances the truck's appearance. Excellent Seller Communication: Responsive and helpful customer service. Cons: Installation Complexity: Requires two people and careful attention to instructions. Drain Pipe Length: The included drain pipes may need to be trimmed for optimal fit. Overall: Despite the somewhat involved installation, the Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover is a fantastic product. Its premium build quality, waterproof performance, and sleek design make it a worthwhile investment for any Ford F-150 owner. If you're looking for a durable and stylish tonneau cover that provides excellent protection for your truck bed, this is an excellent choice. Just be prepared for a two-person installation and take your time with the instructions

Great product. Phenomenal customer service.
I received this unit and with the help of two friends, had it installed in three hours. Everything fit exactly the way it was supposed to, the product worked exactly like it was supposed to. After having the unit on my truck for 10 months, I contacted customer service. regarding what I thought maybe an issue with water entering the housing. I received a prompt response back from a customer representative named Lucy. Provided me with all the information I needed to check to see if I did have any water intrusion. Come to find out there was none it was extremely dry and I just got through a major rain event The customer service I received from Lucy was phenomenal. I really didn’t expect to hear back at all from them but I was offered all the support I could possibly have needed. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a very top quality electric retractable cover. I have it on my 2015 Ford F150. Thank you customer service rep Lucy

High quality cover at a fantastic price
I bought the Bestwyll retractable cover for my F150. It was by far the best deal for a retractable bed cover. Some reviews said the directions aren’t clear. I’d say that’s somewhat true but if you watch a video of it being assembled you’ll be fine. I put it together and installed it by myself in about an hour and a half. It fits perfectly, works great, and looks awesome. I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it for anyone looking for a cover for their truck bed. One thing to note, I used the brackets that attached to the attachment points in my truck bed. You’ll have to buy those self-tapping screws separately. And I needed to use my hammer drill to get those screws in. But once that was complete the cover was rock solid.

Worth the money
I've had this cover for a few weeks now and love it. I put the cover on my 2023 Ford Lightning. Many have said the directions are useless, but I thought they were fair. If the directions included more images they would probably be easier to follow. The directions say to put the unit together on the floor and with help move it to the truck. Instead of this, I put an empty box in the bed of the truck that was tall enough to allow me to place the unit on the empty box and build it in the bed of the truck. If you do this just make sure it's tall enough to allow you to screw the six screws in the side (3 on each side). Once it was together it was pretty easy for me to just lift the motor box up enough to pull the empty box out. Putting the rest together was pretty easy from there. I ran the power to the battery before running any lines to make sure it worked. Once that was out of the way I ran the line from the bed to the battery. When I tried it again, the cover would close, but only open a few feet. I reached out to support and Tony got back to me within a few hours. Apparently, if the cover loses power this issue can happen. After driving around a bit the cover started working again. My bed is coated so instead of putting holes in the original bed plugs, I purchased these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8HWHKM9?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. When the cover is fully open there are two slats still showing. My first thought was it was stopping short, but this is normal. This unit comes with four ways to open and close the cover. 1 - a remote - two come with the unit 2 - a button that you run the line from the bed to the cab 3 - a phone app 4 - your car remote, but you need to install a line you spice into your vehicle first I ended up using the remote that came with the unit, and the phone app. I tested the unit with the button (#2), but I felt the other two were enough. I didn't feel like running lines into the cab, and how many ways does one need to open and close the cover. Other than liking more images in the directions, I would suggest these to the manufacturer * The button that came with the unit could be waterproof. That way it could be set up in the bed of the truck and used when the tailgate is down. * The power line has some loom tubing on it to help protect it from the elements, but I bought some more to make sure the line was protected all the way to the bed. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TDGMDW4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. This was an afterthought and I still need to install it. * Support sent me a link to a youtube video that helped.
