The BEST!! But color can be inconsistent
I’ve been meaning to write a review on these for awhile, and I’ll add pictures eventually. But I wanted to get on here and thrown my two cents in anyway. I’ve been wearing tape-ins for over a decade. Prior to CViD I purchased them from a professional vendor and would buy 3 bags at a time for approximately $200 each. Once things started ‘changing/shutting down/income slowing down’ etc, it became VERY clear that I needed to figure something else out. (Even the quality of the super expensive professional ones went down). Hence how I got here. After trying many many other brands I have found Full Shine to be consistently the best. Now, part of this is because I’ve found the products that help to prolong and protect them best, and have a ‘system of care’ that helps them stay in place and last longer. I’ll add more about that later. But for now what I wanted to say is that when you order these I highly suggest you buy way more than what you need with the knowledge that some of the won’t match the others. I wear the blonde ones that are one shade lighter than the platinum ones, and out of every 3 packages I order at least one is too dark (too much toner), and often it is 2 out of the 3. I don’t think I’ve ever had it be all 3, but I’m sure you get my point. I am sometimes tempted to try a different brand, but the fact that these don’t tangle (with the write products and care), do match my hair (with the knowledge that I may have to buy and return several before I get the right ones), and that they ‘break off’ at a reasonable pace. (Sorry, they are ALL going to break to a certain degree if you are curling them and styling them often). Some of the things I do that help:1.) wash my hair with a sulfate free shampoo and never apply shampoo directly to hair. I use a beauty bottle with a spout to mix shampoo and water together for a super soapy mixture that works perfectly, and makes it easier to clean between the tape-in layers.2.) I separate my hair prior to conditioning into 3 sections, one on the top of my head were I have no extensions and hold it with a hair clip, and two sections of the lower hair with the hair extensions in, one on each side so that they lay on my shoulders kind of like low ponytails.3.) I use a hair mask in place of a regular conditioner, let it sit for at least a few minutes (typically while I’m shaving my legs etc), and NEVER take it up all the way to the tape-ins. Stop at least two-ish inches below the tape-ins because the mask/conditioner will seep upwards a bit.4.) when it’s time to remove these I use 90% straight rubbing alcohol in another beauty/squeeze bottle. You will want to let it sit/soak the taped part for at least a few seconds to break the adhesive down, and then it usually slide off pretty easily.5.) I don’t wear these high up on my head. I put them in starting at the bottom and layer them in a way that they curve a tiny bit. This is because I wear them up as often as possible as it keeps the damage to a minimum. (When I’m sleeping, running errands, working out etc). I also will lift them when I’m putting them in to make sure there is enough of my own hair to hide the tapes before putting them all in in case I need to replace/relocate any. I wear 2 packages now because I don’t need my hair to be as big as I once thought I did.I’ll also add, I rewear mine probably 3-4 times each. I trim them often to make sure they blend in with my natural hair. (I also do this if for some reason they start getting tangled, which doesn’t happen often, but sometimes if I don’t have enough ‘hair silkener’ in it does happen).Final note, it’s easier to order them longer than what you think you need and then cut them to the length you like best, and sometimes the longer ones go on sale ;)

WOW! Reviewed after wearing for 2 MONTHS!
The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying, this review will be a long read, but I need you to know why I'm absolutely in love with this product and that this is not a paid review, nor did I get any hair for free to write this.In the photos, you'll notice the hair is divided into bunches by length and that some has white tape while the rest has black. The extensions with white tape are extensions that I did not use in my first application. I mistook to 20" box for the 22" and ended up saving the 22" for a future application instead of removing the 20" and starting over. I did dye my hair with three of the bunches installed as well as doing 1 wash and condition with a special product before they were removed so that may be why the used hair looks slightly different from the new, but I assure you, it's all the same hair from the same seller from the same order. See below for products I used.I have ordered hair extensions from Amazon for years now and until COVID, had usually gotten some decent products from all the different sellers like Full Shine, Lavoo, Googoo, Moresoo and so on. I'm sure the pandemic made producing and selling human hair extensions awful like every other business. I bought at least 30 different sets (1 set=full head) of tape ins between 2016 and now on Amazon alone. After I kept having issues with product quality from nearly all my purchases on Amazon hair extensions (all application types like tape, sew-in, micro ring, etc.), I started buying from Zala. The hair I've gotten from Zala is always high quality, true to length, thick to the ends, 100% human hair, but I'm a diva on a budget, hence the reason I do my own hair and Zala hair costs at least 50-60% more on average than the pricier extensions on Amazon. So, about this hair: it is without a doubt 100% human hair that is thick, bouncy, lustrous and silky. I am aware of the different things sellers do to make their hair appear of better quality/quantity than it is, from using chemical treatments that improve texture and color to mixing in fibers that look human to make the hair appear full. I do believe all hair extensions are "doctored" in some way, but not equally. These extensions are also 3/4" longer than the length they are labeled as, true with all 4 lengths I purchased for this set, which is amazing being that most stylists cut and shape hair to blend with the client's hair after installing anyway.I waited to review this hair until after I had worn mine for about 2 months as most hair looks and feels great at first, but some, after a few washes, turns ratty and dull. This hair did not do that.I do take care of my extensions by only brushing when dry, starting from the bottom moving up to detangle the ends first or combing with a wide tooth comb if wet in the same manner. I condition the hair promptly after using shampoo with a deep conditioner. I rarely blow dry or use flat irons. I always sleep with my hair up in a bun. I do use clarifying shampoo every other week on the bonds/roots only because my scalp has a tendency to get irritated if not washed thoroughly around the bonds and this removes all oil build-up from the area that could cause the bonds to slip. This and any type of shampoo along with just daily wear will eventually dry the hair out. Be sure to take time to deep condition every strand each time you wash it. Use a comb if it's easier. Just be thorough! At one point, I noticed my natural hair had more of reddish tint than the extensions so I used a Clairol Natural Instincts black to even the color difference. I'll only use semi permanent dyes on extensions to minimize damage. The hair maintained its soft, lustrous appearance and texture after coloring and again blended beautifully with my own hair. The last wash before I removed this set, I used Silicon Mix (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner and shine serum) as it is known to revive extensions. These were starting to feel slightly dry and began to tangle a little so I felt it was worth a try and it did work well on this hair. I believe that combined with the coloring is why my used extensions are shinier and the black appears deeper than the unused bunch.I have applied new tape to the used extensions which was so easy! For tape that holds exceptionally well, it was also very easy to remove the old tape from the weft to apply the new. I used Big Kizzy's Remove and Reuse spray to remove the bonds from my hair. I usually end up with a lot of residue in my hair and have to use half a bottle of Big Kizzy Residue Remover to get all the sticky ick (and sometimes whole pieces of tape) out of my hair, but there really was *a lot* less than I'm used to and only had to wash my hair twice after using the Residue Remover. Each box of 50g does come with a little package of replacement tape, but not enough for each piece. If I could find out how to get this tape, I'd gladly buy more! So, to summarize, I am very happy with my most recent purchase of Full Shine Tape Ins. It's beautiful human hair that stays silky and stays in place when installed on clean hair. It is full to the ends, blends seamlessly with my fine hair natural type. It has a cute soft wave pattern after washing when drying naturally. It doesn't tangle as easily as many hair extension sets I've had as long as it is properly cared for and conditioned. It is true to length with actual length being .75" longer than advertised. I purchased these extensions while there were some generous coupons available and was so happy with them, especially when I got such a good deal! I will be buying more when I'm done with these! Thank you for the awesome products!
