The screen gate is awesome! It’s see through, yet secure. It’s easily retractable and looks so much sleeker and nice than putting metal gates that don’t fit in-front of doorways for dogs. This is the best solution I’ve found.

The media could not be loaded. This 118” retractable gate was easy to install. The open and lock mechanism is different from what is shown in the Amazon product video/photos. It still works, but it is loud when opening and closing the gate. I have a smaller size of this retractable gate that I have installed in a normal size door opening. It works great to keep our dogs in the living room. However, as you can see in the posted video, our 34 pound dog is able to squeeze under the longer retractable gate. No matter how we adjust the gate, because it is stretched across the longer opening, the gate is not tight enough to contain this smaller dog. We put some items in front of this gate so our escape artist of a dog can no longer squeeze under the gate, but is not an attractive alternative.I still recommend this retractable gate for kids or larger dogs. If you have a dog that likes to escape from the area you put it in, this might not be the gate for you!!

First off, we love the fact that it was super long and that's the biggest selling factor here but there's also issues that come with it.First off, if you use the entire length you could crawl or get underneath it. There's just not enough strength on long runs. If you run is much shorter then this might not be an issue. Installation is also dicey. It's easy to do but in my opinion I wanted to hit a stud which makes it a little bit more difficult. Maybe you can use Molly's, but I wasn't sure it would be secure enough. So making sure you're hitting a stud and then making sure it's aligned on the other side does take some time, probably about an hour to install it.

This retractable baby gate is a LIFESAVER! As a household with kids and pets running constantly in and out, this was the solution we were looking for. The install was easy with very clear instructions. The material is sturdy and easy to clean. I have no doubt this will last and be durable throughout daily use, as the quality is excellent. It is easy to operate and the locking function prevents little ones from opening it, providing such peace of mind. Being aesthetically pleasing, it goes with any decor and has extra width for open spaces or outside areas and no tripping hazard (like the old metal style gates). We can also remove it when not in use. Comes a storage bag. Would not hesitate to purchase again! Worth the peace of mind.

Some of the features that immediate stand out are its quality and sturdiness, easy of glide, and locking function. It seems like it will be easy to clean, and will not be a tripping hazard like the older metal style one we previously had. It also opens pretty wide so we can use it in multiple spots. I do like that it is also removable from the mount if needed. Excited to get this up and installed. I am super happy so far with my purchase.
