Magic: A Treatise on Natural Occultism

This book was a great short read for anyone interested in the esoteric. Super short and concise but helped me really understand some pretty complex subjects.

interesting, captivating, and I just might LEARN something

Manly P. Hall is an excellent writer and thinker. This book is thin and the cover art looks precisely as displayed online. It has a nice smooth clean finish and holds together very well. In regards to what is written: though it is a lightweight book, it is not a lightweight read! My personal opinion is that Manly Hall does a great job at providing insights into the nature, purpose, and origins of Occult Magic, as well as disclosing some lesser-known Masonic philosophy. The most prominent theme is the differences between Black and White magic. His intent seems to be to simply inform anyone daring enough to practice Occult Magic of the possible dangers and how to avoid them.***It is imperative that each person read and re-read this book in order to come to a fuller understanding of the rich content, taking long thoughtful breaks in-between.

I was surprised just how much this didn’t include any information I have heard from other sources which was a treat in itself. The explanations of black magic were critical to my worldview and I go back often to remind myself. Halls view of the electro-magnetic spectrum as related to the body was enlightening and thought provoking. Small read, well worth the money to add to the collection.

Big things truly come in small packages.Mr. Hall breaks down yet simplifys the process or keys to mankind's nature of being.

As a heavy practitioner of magick, I couldn’t agree more with the information in this book. Once again, Manly P. Hall explains himself perfectly.

i carry it with me , often times replacing "black magician" with "Boss" or "older brother" or "mean waitress"... gets me threw the day

I seen some things about the book and what information is holds, pretty interesting. I'm excited about the read and what I can learn. What I'm not excited about was the binding being crushed along with the front page being bent. Who puts stickers right on the front cover? These stickers are the kind that don't coke off nicely and leave crap all over. Not a smart idea.

For anyone studying occultism, Hall is always the first author I recommend. Concepts are explained clearly yet are rich in suggestion. However be warned, Hall says to be cautious and not to engage with astral beings as they end up ruining your life.

Worthless book...no useful knowledge and such a costly book....

It came in a little bent and damaged but I’m sure that’s because of the shipping. Other than that it’s a great book
