Teton Sports Camp Pillow; Great for Travel, Camping and Backpacking; Washable, Fox Plaid

I couldn't believe how difficult it would be to buy a camping pillow. There are so many and the amount of reviews can confuse the issue. I almost gave up and then found these buried deep after many pages. I was sure that inflatables would be a problem with air leaks, but I still gave them a chance when reviewing different products. There were hybrids which had a combination of air, down or foam of some sort but these could be very expensive and fall short of comfort in the end. I can understand the need to pack down small and be light when backpacking and these come somewhere in between that. I bicycle and use a trailer so I can carry more weight when necessary. The bottom line for me is comfort, isn't that what a pillow is for. This pillow meets that need and it packs down nicely. There is no fear of air leakage since it is made from similar materials as synthetic fiber fill that you would fine in many sleeping bags. The removable outer cover is a requirement for me to make washing easier and the size is just right when using a sleeping pad which for me comes in at 25 inches at the shoulder. This pillow is smaller and doesn't hang over the sleeping pad but big enough to provide adequate head room and is comfortable. I couldn't believe how expensive many of the pillows were, at the price this one is being sold I consider it a bargain. If spending $ 50.00 for a pillow that will leak or bottom out is your goal, then don't buy this one, but if spending less for a nicely made pillow that in my opinion is just right in size and not too heavy and feels good against your face and keeps you warm, then this could be money well spent.

I bought this for a camping trip, but to be honest, love using it at home. It's small, but firm enough, and fits perfectly behind my neck when reading, providing great support that's comfortable. The fabric is so very soft! Love it. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

I bought this anticipating it to be slightly larger - 18 in x 12 in as advertised in the description and on the bag. It's 10.5 x 16. Taking off 1 star for this as everything else is nice. It's very soft and machine washable and the bag is nice for packing up.

I like this pillow. It packs up small so it's easy to fit just about anywhere. The pillow itself is comfortable, although if you expect to share it, don't. There's only room for one noggin on this thing. I don't think it will work well for side sleepers. Not enough lift. Not too bad for back or stomach sleepers though. The pillow case is soft not scratchy, so that's a plus. The price is a big plus.

I can sleep just about anywhere as long as I have a supportive pillow, so that's why I bought this rather than wadding up my clothes to sleep on. The pillow is very comfortable and a good size. It's firm enough that I'm supported, it's light weight, and I think the material will hold up. The only con is that it does take up more space than I'd like in my pack. I need to find a way to shrink it. Maybe a vacuum bag?

The pillow is considerably smaller than what's advertised in the description. They say it's 12"x18 but it's more like 10"x15" which is tool small for my needs. I will say it's well made and will give it 3-stars for that. If it was actually 12"x18" it would have gotten 5-stars. I don't know if it's lack of quality control or false advertising, but they need to correct this. I returned it. I see there are other reviews also pointing out the size issue.

This is a great travel and camping pillow. It is small, that's what lets you compress it into the sack. I do not like inflatable pillows, this is much better. It's very soft and comfortable. No awkward smells from it when unpacking.

Packs down nice and light yet warm. I have used it to fly and backapack along with camping. When not on an adventure I keep it under the seat for winter vehicle safety

Amo esta almohadita! Realmente muy compacta, pero con el tamaño necesario para brindar un buen descanso. Lavé ya su funda y no tuvo cambio alguno. Estoy muy satisfecha con ella.

I purchased 3 of these and I tested out 2 of them last night in bed — and I can say that they're quite comfortable. These will be perfect for camping (they'll also be perfect for some extra pillows on the couch or in bed). They're a great size and they roll up nicely. If you check my pictures, you'll see I've placed one of these Teton pillows in top of my standard size pillow, just fot a size reference. These pillows will be a welcome addition to my sleeping setup in my tent.

Pillow is light, has a nice cover, and is a good size. You have to fold the pillow to get it into the sack it comes with. My pillow had uneven stuffing distributed due to being in the sack. It is extremely difficult to evenly it out. I will not be storing in the sack. The pillow, being a nice size, is large and it doesn’t compress well. It is light and comfy though. Depends on what you value. I’ll use it for car camping.
