These shoes are primarily meant for simply a pool - this shoe ate up the back of my leg and left me with bruises on both feet. This shoe can not be worn without water socks - which I wanted to avoid in the first place. It does not keep sand or small rocks from getting inside the shoe. I had to constantly stop - take the shoe off - get out whatever kept getting inside to continue walking in pain as I was hiking which made it even worse. I was highly disappointed with this product.

I ordered 7.5, but the one that I received looks like 6.. But it fits my bare foot.
