Hi, made a quick search for the model and well, I'm no expert on HP laptops but it seemed to me that yes, it pretty much looks like my 15-ax so it seems it would work. I suggest to confirm with HP or a specialist anyway. One thing that may help is opening the laptop and getting the part number and comparing with the ones offered here before buying. There are youtube videos showing the disassembly. Good luck!
