£30.00 for a towel? Just one towel….for £30.00? Who would pay £30.00 for a towel? Well, if you’d asked me that question a week ago I would have thought it was 1st of April. Ask the same question today and the answer would be ME! This Christy Cabana isn’t really a towel, it’s a towel masquerading as sheer opulence. I used to spend a long time in the bath, now it’s a quick dip and half an hour drying myself.I know it’s supposed to be a beach towel but I don’t want a grain of sand to spoil my pleasure. Blue and white stripes don’t go with a burgundy bathroom. Do I care? No. I might redesign my bathroom. Blue and white sounds good.This towel is certified by Oeko-Tex. It’s nice to know that this towel has been made ethically and is environmentally friendly. The registration number on the label checked out. Though I would have preferred to check out the credentials before receiving the towel, with éither the registration number or a QR code provided in the listing. Still that’s not the towel’s fault!As you might have guessed by now I like this towel. No, not like, love this towel. Do I recommend it? Without a doubt, wholeheartedly

This is such a lovely beach towel that comes wrapped in a plastic bag and folded nicely. The towel is big and I chose the ‘mimosa’ colour which has a lovely rich yellow colour among the white stripes. The towel has a good weight to it and is towel-like on one side while the other has a more flatter but fluffier feel to it, like most beach towels do, and it is nice and long enough to fit myself onto it if I wanted to lie down on it, but to be honest I haven’t actually used this towel outside!It’s made of cotton and I love how simple and yet great this towel looks with the stripes. The yellow colour is almost golden in the shade of yellow, and it just feels like such a luxurious soft towel and I love wrapping myself in this! The towel feels like such good quality, not just from its weight but the way it’s finished. The ends of the towel feel well sewn and there’s even an embroidered logo at the bottom giving this towel an expensive feel. It is quite pricey at thirty pounds for one towel, but you really are getting something of quality and it feels so lovely and soft.

It should hold up well for years when looked after correctly, and the OEKO-TEX certification is good to see in the age of cheap fabrics.It’s super soft and a good quality towel, no surprise given the heritage of Christy – which justifies up its £29.99 asking price at the time of review, and is comparable to high quality options on the high street.

Perfect for the beach or a lounger. Very high quailty (as I would expect for the price point), super soft, supprisingly absorbant and quick drying. Size is great, covers an impressively large area and colour is a really nice deep blue. The whole thing screams luxury so for the price point it feels about right. Very happy, would recommend

I've picked up a few beach towels online and they typically arrive very thin and, to be honest, not the best quality.This is by far the best quality towel I have picked up from the net. It's very soft, it's fluffy and absorbs a good amount of water - despite being a beach towel, more geared towards laying down on.The pattern is simple, but bright and attractive: reminiscent of those 'old-style' beach towels that you see in beach advertisements.Overall, I'm impressed with it and have found it a pleasure to use.

It's super soft velour on one side and a towelling material on the other for drying. It is quite expensive (£29.99 for one towel) but worth it for the quality. I'll definitely be purchasing more.

Considering the price, this towel definitely lives up to its name and price. It's of an excellent quality for a beach towel and I love how long it is, perfect for lying down in when relaxing on the beach or laying it across a sun lounger. It definitely feels luxurious for a beach towel and dries oneself quite well.
