I originally had the 1-litre Ion8 bottle, but the spring in the lid went on the original. Rather than buying a whole new bottle, I decided to try this replacement lid. I ordered the 750ml option after seeing a couple of reviews mention it might fit the 1-litre bottle, and I can confirm that it definitely fits 1000ml / 1-litre Ion8 bottles perfectly. It’s exactly the same coloured lid as the one that came with the original bottle—same build quality, same feel, and it opens and closes as expected. The lid feels sturdy and secure, and it’s completely leak-proof in my experience. This is a much cheaper and more sensible option than replacing the entire bottle when the lid mechanism wears out. If it goes again in the future, I’ll happily buy another replacement at this price. I also really like the pop-out ring on the lid. I attach a carabiner to it for the gym, and it works great for carrying the bottle and holding my keys or other small items while I’m working out. Overall, a great replacement part and excellent value.

I managed to break the handle on my (much older) Ion8 bottle lid, and bought this as a replacement as the rest of the bottle was fine. Of course, it fits perfectly and the lid design is much better these days, so very happy.

Been 9 months and having to buy another replacement lid. Seem to break easily, my first lid just needed replacing because it was old and the rubber bits were starting to discolour. The replacement just broke quickly and easily. I am having to buy my second replacement lid which is annoying.
