Im direkten Vergleich konnte ich bisher keine Unterschiede in der Brennleistung feststellen, außer dass der von der Firma Solo Stove angebotenen Trangia eine kleine Stange am Deckel beinhaltet die das ausmachen der Flamme im Solo Stove erleichtert. Grundsätzlich kann man sagen dass sich die Anschaffung eines solchen Brenners für einen Solo Stove lohnt, somit ist man immer flexibel bei der Brennstoff Wahl und er ist super zu verstauen im Solo Stove. Dabei ist es egal ob man den kleinen Solo Stove oder den Titan besitzt.

I bought this as a backup to using wood with the Solo Stove. I use HEET from the yellow bottle as fuel. This thing takes a few minutes to get roaring, but then it really puts out some flame jets. Very happy with this purchase.EDIT: Just thought I should add this little safety note about this type of burner, because when I was demonstrating it to my neighbor he insisted it wasn't lit.Depending on lighting and atmospheric conditions, and the type of alcohol you use (I use HEET from the yellow bottle), it is possible to light this burner and see no visible flame for several minutes, even though the fuel is on fire and producing heat. ***Do not assume that the burner is not lit just because you see no flames!***I use the LOOK, FEEL and WAIT method to determine if it has lit after I put a flame source to it. First, I LOOK at the burner and *above* the burner for the "heat signature". You know, that hazy and wavy effect in the air when heat rises off hot pavement. If you see that, it's lit and will produce a flame shortly. If I see no heat signature, I FEEL for heat by moving my hand above and across the burner (at a safe distance) to feel for heat. If I feel no heat, I still WAIT for several minutes while assuming it is lit.I can imagine someone putting a flame to the burner, then thinking it hasn't lit and moving it around or even trying to pour more alcohol into the burner. Doing this can be dangerous.That said, used properly this is a fantastic backup for wood, particularly if you are remote/wilderness camping and the local wood fuel has become waterlogged. If you don't feel like going through the arduous process of building a wet wood fire just to boil a cup of water, you can pop your alcohol burner into your Solo Stove, or any other stove it will fit into, and you're good to go.
