Rusted chuck, short lived if stirring steamyroduct.
Revised, chuck issue resolved. The modulation control is a bit finicky in the low rpm range, but fully acceptable. I read reviews that it was noisy, but mine operates extremely smoothly and quietly. The removable power cord at the motor is handy for installing and removing from the apparatus. My initial review was a bit critical on account of an internal issue with the chuck/rod holder, which seized onto the stir-rod after tightening the first time, but upon closer inspection, thorough cleaning of internal debris/rust with air pressure and a shot of WD40, it now performs as expected. Overall for this price range, good toque, sturdy base and attachment bracket. ONiLAB was quick to inquire and offer resolution for the chuck issue.

Good! The only complaint is when you first turn on the mixing, it will at first mix with a joult of power for 2 seconds and then equilibrate to the selected speed. When purchasing attachments note the distance between the hot plate and overhead stirrer.

Does what it says it does
This is a lovely piece of simple kit that gets the job done. Quiet, efficient, good torque. No wobblies or weird vibrations. In short this thing works great for us. I also want to praise the team there - mine arrived w/ a defective transformer and they replaced it without fuss. Very satisfying customer support people, and prompt. THIS MATTERS!

Didnt receive the right parts.
I receieved the item with two of the upper support rods instead of one upper and one lower so they do not screw together and I cant use the stirrer.
