It's lightweight and powerful at the same time! All the included blades are of top quality as I used one metal cutting blades to cut wood and thick nails which were stuck inside. I used it for almost 1 month after my purchase and here are the things I liked the most: 1) Easy blade release and insert system. 2) Can rotate the base so angulars cuts are possible. 3) Included blades are good not as good as Milwaukee though. 4) Vacuum hoes connection is a good bonus. 5) Added blade storage compartment is a great thing to have. 6) Makes low to medium noise according to my preference. The only thing that would have been a bargain for this price is a laser guide/any light. This tool is great for every DIY workers, home improvement works, heck even for professional woodworkers. Let's see how long it lasts!

Wood cutting depth is not 85 mm as promised in product description page and product packaging. Wooden blades are weak, blades don't bear long duration cutting one needs to give rest and cool blades frequently to increase blades working span otherwise blades break early. Machines stroke length is small doesn't provide 85 mm cutting depth for wood. Cutting speed through wood is slow. Jigsaw is compact, stable,robust, good grips,easy control, moderate noise, good angular as well as straight cuts. Less vibration,more compact, good grip,easy cutting navigation, length and quality of wire is good. Needs improvement on stroke length for depth of cut,linear cutting speed, quality of blades, some cooling mechanism (either through air or water) to cool blades during cutting operation.

I do repairs and build small furniture at home for my use. My work mostly involves modifying existing wardrobes, tables etc for functionality. My biggest problem was cutting plywood and after much research i narrowed down on the B&D primarily because of the 600W motor. The product is very good and friendly to use. I found it quite easy compared to a circular saw and I find circular Saws are really overpowered for working on Plywood and Soft materials. 1) I have used it to cut Plywood of 18mm for about 6ft lenght. I have used motor speed at 5 and was able to cut this in few minutes. 2) I used the Jigsaw to make a U cut in the Plywood. I was pretty happy, else this would have been a nightmare. Pros : LIght weight and easy to use. You can make circular cuts. Low Noise. Comes in a neat box. Cons : The machine i got was 2018 April manufactured. Product is made in CHINA.

Excellent piece of machinery. Comes with Warranty card, a good sturdy carry case. The cut finish on an MDF board is very very smooth, just remember to use the blades for metal. The blades for wood are for hard-woods. Many adjustments available, beveling, speed, pendulum motion etc. The onboard blade storage is also very handy, you can flip it open, get a blade and lock it closed. If you are thinking of going for the KS600 or KS700 series, go for this one instead. It may seem to be more pricey, but they go give you a more advanced and powerful model, with a good carry case and 10 extra blades (3 + 10). The handle is made of good quality rubber which gives excellent grip. The cord is about 2.5 to 3 meters in length. A bit on the heavier side if compared to DeWalt in a similar range, but that is not a problem if you have a good bench and use the machine in horizontal position. (I have seen people using it in vertical motions, while holding the wood board upright in one hand... that is bad technique.) Overall, very happy with the product.

Angle adjustment is not good. It's came loose and angle marking rotate. Made of cheap plastic. Cutting is ok

I have received it just today, and this is a review after the initial impression and just one test usage. Saw is good and powerful, however the cost saving is evident at various places. The blade does not sit perfectly perpendicular with the blade holder. I don’t know if this is because of the specific blade, (since it is high speed blade – meant to cut wood at high speed) or if it a manufacturing defect. I saw some videos of this jig saw online and concluded that it meant to be that way. I was also not able to change the bevel level at first. Even after moving the bevel change lever up. After some trial and error, I was able to change the level after pushing the base plate slightly forward. The base plate moves by a couple of milometers and that allows the base to rotate. Again, I don’t know if that’s by design or that’s a defect. Now, the cut. I cut a small piece of scrap plywood with the provided T shank high speed blade. I cut a part of it with pendulum action set to zero and speed set to 2, it was slow but I got a fairly smooth cut. Then I switched to pendulum action 3 and it tore through the plywood like knife cuts through butter! It’s a powerful saw and the first time I cut it, I lifted the saw a few times during the cut. If you press it down on the wood, it moves smoothly. The quality is cheap. Plastic separates where you insert the vacuum cleaner attachment. Like any power tool, it will take practice to get used to it. It took me a few tries to even start using a drill properly. Overall, despite a few limitations I think it is a good overall package. The saw is powerful and comes with a hard plastic box, extra blades and vacuum cleaner attachment. For DIY and occasional use it’s a good deal.

As usual great timing by Amazon. Best on line store! For my amateur skills the machine is perfect. The cut is good, clean. Though you cant actually see the cut during operation easily. A laser sightline would have been great. But then this is budget machine. Except for the three blades on the machine all the other 10 blades are U shank which are not easy to insert in the machine. I dont know how they will perform. So far no problems either with wood- up to 1"- PVC pes and metal sheets-1-1.5 mm. Worth every penny of it.
