New Dell computers continue to provide good value and reliability.
I had previously purchased two refurbished Dell computers from Amazon with poor results over the past 12-18 months. Both developed catastrophic systems failures within weeks. Too much much trouble to wipe clean for security purposes and send back as I am a very busy professional. This new Dell has been a very different story. Works as expected with robust operating system and excellent video and audio. I should have went with new all along. New Dells have provided me with reliable performance for years. John

The performance is very good. There is little bit noise but you can adjust it from my dell setting.

Great buy
This is a solid laptop with great performance for its size. The display is sharp and bright, the build feels premium, and it handles multitasking smoothly. Perfect balance of portability and power.

Meh. That is my overall review for this laptop. Named the best on the market by the New York Times...how much did Dell pay them to say that? It is not intuitive, the mouse pad is all over place when you try to use it, displaying to a monitor can be spotty, too many bad defaults to make it easier to use. Dell has made better in the past and hopefully better in the future. This laptop is getting downgraded to my back-up once I find a better replacement.

Nice Laptop Upgrade
I got incredible mileage (8 years) out of an inexpensive Lenovo (kudos to Lenovo, but that's a different review), but it was time for an upgrade to a newer processor and 32 gb of memory. As expected, the performance improvement has been wonderful. The laptop itself is quick to set up and bring over materials from the old laptop. All of the features work as advertised and it's a pleasure to use. I can't speak to durability after only 6 weeks, but everything is fine so far.
