I have type 2b hair. Slight wavy hair that is super dry , frizzy n damaged after years of chemical treatment. I was in search of a product that would just soften my hair, reduce the frizziness n improve the quality of my hair. This mask is the best thing I could have found for my hair. This is indeed a very good product. I also use Shea Moisture shampoo.I apply the mask on dry hair. Keep for an hour n then rinse it thoroughly with water. after rinsing it with water, I wrap my hair in an old ratty tee and then use a broad tooth comb. I apply little hair serum when the hair is half dry. Naturally dry. I don't use any blow dryer.I have been using this hair mask once a week, sometimes even twice. i love how my hair is now soft and silky.

Smells wonderful:) it smelled of something like strong caramel mix with vanilla may be, watever it is I love the fragrance. I use it as a conditioner.. N yes, their whole jbco line suits my hair.. :)

I have 3C thick hair, which is frizzy pretty much all the time. I have started using this deep conditioner as a my regular conditioner as well. If your hair is dry or frizzy, it is begging for moisture, in that case use it once a week or with every wash day. If your hair feels elastic, then its over-moisturized and you would want to cut down to once in two weeks
