Best yoga shorts so far. Period.
Bottom line - these are the best yoga shorts I've ever owned, worth every penny. And I am a very skeptical customer!I'm 5'9, 165 pounds, ~33 inch waist. I bought the Medium size. They fit very well, and after a number of weeks have still not bunched up around the junk (which I've noticed happens with some other shorts with different types of material). In fact, after a few wearings and washings they seem to fit better. The material is much heavier than other shorts I've owned. And the inner liner is new to me as well. Again - something to be skeptical about. But I appreciate both! No more buying/washing/dealing with an extra liner. This one does the job perfectly (the liner is actually a bit looser than the compression shorts I usually wear - but they still do the trick, and have better breathability so they feel more comfortable). And the heaviness of the shorts works great to keep things in place.I sweat a lot, 3+ times a week in hot, advanced yoga. These are really comfortable, and I don't notice any weird sweat marks or odor after weeks. Although, I recommend a full washing soon after practice with any sweaty yoga equipment. As for the pockets, I don't mind having them to hold my keys to and from the yoga studio. They probably aren't necessary, but they are pretty low profile so not a big bother. There is also an inner draw-string. I use it, and again, it is pretty low-profile.Thank you so much to the designer and manufacturer here. These shorts a great example of how to do things right!

Well-made yoga shorts for guys! They look good, feel good and work perfectly for hot yoga and workouts.
As I mentioned in another review (for running shorts) I am on what has turned out to be somewhat of a quest to find workout shorts that can be used in a variety of settings and workouts. Personally, that means running (including some distance work), hot yoga and general workouts at the gym. As it turns out, finding the "one short to rule them all" is proving to be quite a challenge. With respect to these Yoga Crow shorts, they are fantastic for hot yoga. I have been able to use them a few times now and they have proven to be worth the extra expense, relative to what I use now which is a combination of regular workout shorts and a separate trunk undergarment.. They stay in place wonderfully on my legs without bunching up or falling out of position and the liner keeps the private parts private. The inseam length is really great (neither too short nor too long) for yoga so these shorts could be used for a general workout at the gym or just hanging out in them.I was concerned about the delicacy of the material with respect to washing instructions (i.e. no dryer or line dry only). As it turns out, they seem to do just fine with tumble dry on the low setting. Thus far, after a few weeks of use, they haven't taken on any odor or smell, which hopefully will continue for the life of the shorts. With respect to using these as running shorts, I don't think they will handle longer distances well, probably be inclined to chaff, but I won't know for sure for a while, until I have a chance to compare with other contendors for the "Best Workout Short" quest upon which I am currentlyengaged (currently just this one and Saxx Kinetic workout shorts but I'm still looking for other contendors). My goal would be to not have to purchase single-purpose shorts for each specific activity, i.e. 3 or 4 for yoga, 3-5 for running and 3-5 for general workouts. At $70-$80 a piece that's adding up pretty quickly! As with the Saxx Kinetic shorts, I wish they were not so expensive but the high quality stuff always seems to cost more. I appreciated the follow-up email from the owner of the company checking to make sure everything was good with the purchase, which it was.All-in-all, a great yoga short for men that can be used for other types of workouts with ease.

not great if you’re tall but small waisted
After originally being excited about these shorts a week into having them I have to knock off a star.I bought HYLETE fuse shorts at the same time as these, and since they’re a similar price point I’m comparing them.Yoga Crow pros: the elastic waistband is the perfect amount of snugness so as to not even need to tighten the drawstring.Cons: thicker material, bulkier seams, fabric “catches” a little on legs in some movementsHYLETE fuse pros: lighter material, fully gusseted crotch, do not even notice material in full lunge positions. Linerless which I preferCons: waistband not as snug, drawstring must be tied for snug fit.For me the fact that the HYLETE short is linerless is a huge bonus for me. I’m not sure why people love liners. I’ve never found a liner that was as comfortable as my Calvin Klein microfiber underwear, so why not just wear my own underwear with shorts?I also have to go to 2 stars on these because I bought both a small and a medium and each one had its problems. The description said to size down if you liked a snugger fit. So the small fit well for my 31” waist, but when I went to move, the crotch was too snug for full range of movement. The material is simply not light enough for a snug fit. I ended up throwing away the smalls after wearing twice. The mediums I use, as they fit loose enough to make up for the thickness of the material, and have enough space for the crotch to allow full range of motion. If you’re shorter this may not be a problem.I’m 6’2 with a 31 inch waist so the small is right in the waist and legs but to tight in the crotch. If you’re shorter and thicker these may be great for you. If you’re tall and thin I’d say look elswhere at other 60+ dollar shorts.I hate to give only 2 stars for this product, but at 64$ it has to compete with the other higher priced brands.

Overpriced don’t understand the good reviews
They are very tight around the leg which I personally find uncomfortable running and workout out. You also get very hot and sweaty down there. For £60 I was expecting something brilliant and it was below average. Wouldn’t recommend, get yourself 3 pairs of normal workout shorts for the same price and save yourself the disappointment

A bit pricey but great fit and quality product...
Excellent quality. I'm 5'8" 150#. The size Small is perfect fit. Not body-hugging like bicycle shorts/tights but fit close to the body and stretchy allowing free movement. Perfect for yoga. Built-in liner is a plus. It may be a bit pricey but I haven't found anything like this for men that is as close to almost perfectly what I wanted. Too bad no holiday special!

Good for Hot Yoga
These are good quality yoga shorts that work well in a hot yoga class. I've been using them for a month and the overall experience is very positive. They are well made and designed: good quality stitching, no loose threads; nice, round tips of the drawstring aglets (haven't seen those for a while). They seem to withstand washing well, but a month is obviously not enough to be sure. The front feels comfortable -- not too loose and not too exposing. The liner does a good job of moisture wicking, so the skin remains sweat free for the entire class.I found the size selection a bit challenging. The description says the shorts are slim, so I ordered the large size, even though my actual waist measurement is less than 34'. I like the length of this size, but the waist could be slimmer. Machine drying it one time, as suggested by the manufacturer, may help. I may try medium size in the future, specially, if all these hot yoga classes reduce my waist even more.

Material quality is excellent very comparable if not better than other top brand ...
I bought this to use for hot yoga. Picture is a very accurate representation of the product. Material quality is excellent very comparable if not better than other top brand yoga product which I use. This is now my first choice. The undergarment in non abrasive and comfortable. Most importantly it is comfortable when doing the yoga positions and does not restrict your movement. I wish Yoga Crow would also sell the shirts in Canada. Overall an excellent product and I would recommend it highly.

the best pants a man can get
This is my second pair of Yoga Crows. They let you move freely in Vriksasana without bunching and don't make you look super awkward in Savasana. Black is a good choice if doing hot yoga. Owner called me after my order to make sure I was happy. I own their shirts too.
