I love learning the choreographed moves of the stars from music videos and what not. I haven't taken a trained dance course/class since third grade, but it's still a hobby of mine to go online and look up YouTube videos of the many choreographers they have out now.I tried this video maybe once due to lack of space, and I enjoyed myself. There's different levels of difficulty so you can slow it down or speed it up!

Dance lessons in my living room, exactly what I need - So I would not be embarested in public. Has several sections with detailed demo so you can figure it out at your own passe. They a cool dance at the end. WoW, we are dancing now. "Somewhat anyway"

I'm very happy with the content of this video. Be warned, however, that it can be hard to get it to play because it is configured in a non-standard way. I had to get IT help to figure it out. Now that I know what sequence of clicks it requires to play, that's just a m inor nuisance.

I thought this would be gret for exercising but it's not. This is not easy for beginners and its not fun at all. Its complicated and its not set up in rountines so that you can participate in any part. The music isn't that good and the 3 dancers are not good. All of this was recorded in one day and the teacher doesn't really teach you the steps. I wouldn't buy this, its just a waist of money.

I purchased this for someone else who wanted to learn hip-hop. Their first time trying it they came back to me and told me they had no idea what was happening or how to follow it. I finally had the chance to take a look at the DVD myself and found out why. There is a very quick breakdown but it is of the routines. There is no explaination of any of the actual movement.This may be a good instruction DVD for someone already familiar with the basics of dance or with training in another style who is looking for routines or combinations to incorporate into their own dancing. This is not for someone looking for a basic introduction to hip hop dance with no prior dance background.

super fun

The moves are good, but presentation as an actual intructional video leaves a whole lot to be desired. I wish some of these dance professionals (?) would review other dvds (like Madonna Grimes and Jennifer Gilardi) to geet an idea what it takes to teach a move to someone watching a dvd. If you can't learm from Grimes or Gilardi, you probably shouldn't bother.

A very good video for the beginning dancer. Has three routines with various difficulty. The pace, explanation, and instruction are all of high quality. I would suggest this video to anyone who wants to begin to learn the style of hip-hop dancing.

Received it quickly and has me dancing!

I've tried half a dozen dance DVDs and this is definitely the best so far. Unlike most of the others I've tried, the dancers actually look good doing the moves. This means you naturally want to copy them, and so it doesn't feel like work, even when you're working hard. The difficulty level was around medium; this will suit you if you have some natural dancing ability, but little formal training and modest fitness levels. The pace was also just right - not too fast and not too slow. I liked Laya as well; she comes across as very human and friendly. And the music was pretty good too. Basically, everything is pretty much spot-on. My only problem is that after a few months I've learned all the moves: please make a second one!

買ってよかった系のDVDです。先生のラヤさんはとてもノリがよく、かっこよく踊ってくれます。持っているヒップホップダンスビデオの中でもイケてるほうでお気に入りの一枚です。ヒップホップのDVDの難しいところは、自宅でやると、下の部屋に響くところですね。キック、ターンが必ずでてくるので、お部屋ではつい音が気になる…！

Not quite what the family needed to learn how to hip hop dance - but fun for a while.

Are you really into dancing you should enjoy this DVD.It is instructional and gives good views how to perform the moves and the steps. It is good DVD and you get the inspiration to learn more Hip Hop on more qualified levels.I can highly recommend this DVD.
