Elena is her mafia family’s caretaker. She’s a fixer. She’s loving, nurturing, a bit of a people pleaser but she’s smart about it. Definitely not a doormat. She’s in an arranged marriage to Brody, head of the Irish mob. He’s also his family’s caretaker and fixer. Everyone in his neighborhood goes to him with their problems and he fixes everything. I love how these two communicate and develop their relationship thru fun and interesting conversations. Of course the spice is there too. They have incredible chemistry. They’re very different emotionally but they complement each other and use RS h other’s strength. I love Elena’s confidence and her ability to read the room. I love Brody for letting her be herself. And I am here for how Elena brings out the best in Brody. These two are the perfect power couple. Dual POV, no 3rd act breakup. The banter is funny, intelligent and very clever. The plot is tight and well written. Love all the side characters, some of whom have their own books. Can’t wait to read Angelo’s book.

This is a continuation of the series, but can also be read as a stand alone. Yes! We get to see Laura again!😁And all the previous loved characters in the series. We have Elena Bianco, our fiesty, funny, giving and beautiful MFC. And Brody Quinn, the big, muscled and gorgeous MMC. He is head of the Bianco Famiglia, the Irish Mafia, and head of Quinn Legal. In this book we find out finally why Elena’s dad, Alessandro, never did anything about, and always let Santoro go free when caught after all the horrible things Santoro did. And WOW! In no way will you see that coming! This pretty much summed up the whole continual saga in B B Hamel’s series. Of course there’s some loved characters that can still have their own story. Guess we will see. This books covers the Mafia, murders, attempted murders, threats, dirty cops and so much more. But read the journey to see how Elana and Brody finds a happy ending. This is the third book in the Bianco Crime Family. It features Elena Bianco and Brody Quinn. Brody is the head of the Irish Quinn Crime family. He is young for a Don. When his father died of a heart attack it fell to him to hold the family together. They are a smaller outfit in Chicago but have a lot of influence with the police. And the Bianco family needs a lot of help after their “Oasis” was attacked. So Simon arranges a marriage. Elena has no problem with that. She is a fixer by nature and this is just another way to help her family. But she is surprised at how hot her husband is and Brody is surprised at how beautiful his wife is. The attraction is off the charts. But they have several things to work out. And Brody is having trouble with the zoning board. He is surprised at how much Elena can help. But the war is still a problem and things are getting bad. The police are constantly harassing the Biancos. Can they work out their problems? Can Brody help with the war? This story is full of steamy passion and suspense. It has all the feels that I love. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Elena will do anything for her family, even marry an Irish crime boss, it helps that he is big and sexy. Brody needs the Bianca connections to make his family more but he plans on no emotional attachment when he marries Elena but Elena is all about emotions. As these two learn to maneuver together the learn they each can give a little and find their HEA in this exciting and dirty read.

I don't even have words!! Great book as always, but that ball from left field was amazing! I love getting the whole view of the families and I can't wait for the rest of the books. I always get more than I expect from B.B. Hamel!

If you really think about it. Elena runs everything. She isn’t the Don but she has more influence then both Boss/Dons put together. This book is about her influence and the great lengths she goes to take care of her family. The war comes to a conclusion and what a damn plot twist that was. I liked the Irish and I hope we get a spin off there. (Actually I think we do eventually) - the family aspect was just like the Rossi but more community based. Revolving door of the public. Corrupt lawyers are a definite new angle in the mafia book world. Loved seeing them get their hands a little dirty. Spice was a good slow burn till 40% - chili was a good 3/5 chilis.

First, this is the first Hamer book I managed to complete. I’ve attempted to read others before and have always lost interest. The FMC is so likeable that she overshadows everyone’s personality. She’s smart, playful, kind, and if she was real and I was a lesbian, I’ll be going head to head with Brody. The character development is evenly paced throughout the book. I really loved the little surprise at the end. What a twist that I did not expect. I was so focused on Elena and Brody that I didn’t bother to ask what created the rivalry. Soo good, I was sad for the enemy.

This was a really good book. I was totally shocked from the ending. Never would have expected that. Over all this was really good not all sex but had a plot. Kept me reading into the night hours didn't want to stop. Very very good book.

Brody and Elena ...what a great couple, the banter between these two is wonderful. The romance and finally the Santoro conclusion with a twist you won't see coming.

Won’t give away any spoilers but really didn’t see that one coming!!! I found the relationship between Elena and Brody to be a bit tame and lacklustre but it was actually the back story of the feud between the Biancos and Santoro that was more interesting. Especially if you’ve read the previous books in the series. Although standalones I really recommend reading the books in order as then you get the full force of the explosive ending in this book!!! Don’t read any spoilers it’ll ruin it for you!!!

I loved reading this book. The story and characters were beautifully written. It was interesting and intriguing. I recommend a very good read.

Very cute book...I found it lagged in parts because I was waiting for something to happen but overall very entertaining.

Really great read, Brody and Elena make a great couple. There is twist and turns in this book. Read TWS. I read it in two days.
