This was a new hob for our kitchen, never heard of Baridi, but we did like the look of it and the price was much better than quoted by other retailers. We have had it installed now for a couple of weeks and are very happy with the look and performance of it. Would recommend.

It's a great hob good value for money

It could be so much better. It's a good looking item. The burners are efficient, maybe a tad too efficient, rather fierce. The wok burner is too hot even on low for 'normal' cooking. By far the most annoying thing is the layout. I didn't really consider it until I started using it. For a right handed person, the two 'standard' sized burners on the right need to be on the left. They are the most used burners and a right handed person generally uses their left had to steady the pan, while stirring stuff with their right hand. Doing this as it is currently laid out means the pan handles are blocking the wok burner. The larger burner at the back should be at the front, away from the wall, leaving the smaller burner (less heat) at the back. I wouldn't buy it again purely on the layout issues.

This is exactly what I wanted. A little bit industrial but I had to have a hob where is was impossible to tip a saucepan when moved over, this hob does just that. Very smart and with easy to press and operate knobs with a very fine control possible for simmering. Yes I recommend this hob, a good price and all the bits delivered..Revison of review..
