After owning this thing for almost a year and a half I have to say I’m impressed little bulky but battery life is awesome blades cut awesome and hold up pretty good(about 150-200 fish done and still going strong) and it’s not slow it gets the job done quick the cordless option is top notch take it anywhere you want i see a lot of people complaining about the trigger being hard to push but mine is very easy to push and not once had it let me down for the price you can’t beat it

J’attendais d’avoir arrangé un certain nombre de poissons avant de faire des commentaires. Ça travaille très bien. Ça coupe bien. La lame est tranchante et l’ensemble est de très bonne qualité. La puissance fameuse et la charge très durable. La poignée assez grosse mais ne nuit pas à la manipulation. L’étui pour l’entreposer est ventilé. Ce qui s’avère très efficace pour éviter les senteurs après nettoyage. Toutefois pour le prix j’aurais bien aimé un autre kit de lame comme proposé par la concurrence. Je le recommande.

Great knife. Cleaned about 100 fish with it. Cleans easily and doesn’t over heat. Very pleased

I have been using an old (I mean 1970’s old) corded kitchen electric knife to fillet fish over the last few years, which served the purpose of speeding up the filleting process, however not very convenient, so I had been shopping around for a good cordless option in a knife specifically designed for this task. The price of some of the more common name brands had been scaring me away from making a purchase, but after reading reviews and watching some video demonstrations online, I decided to give the Old Timer knife a try, and so far I am very pleased with the purchase. Blades are very sharp, and easy to install and remove. The trigger lock is a nice safety feature. Some have mentioned the handle being a bit large, and I could see this being a bit of an issue for people with smaller hands, but it is the trade off necessary to have a quality rechargeable lithium battery. As for the battery, I have not tested it fully to see exactly how long it would last, but it easily takes care of my daily limit of walleye with ease. From everything I have experienced so far, I would definitely recommend this knife to those who may have been tentative due to higher costs of similar products.
