Used to patch a seat that had lost some of its cover material. Made a mistake and touched some of the backing against itself. The adhesive is so strong I could not get it apart. It sticks,

Somehow the coil burned through the bottom of my DW. I dont know. Anyway, saw infomercials for this stuff forever, you know, you can stop a sinking boat with this stuff. So i got it, cut a square to cover the hole in my DW and VOILA! Fixed! I will say that the coil burned through this stuff as well at some point, but i just threw on another patch and we are good to go! Basically macgyver stuff.

For what I use it for it seems to be working I just used it yesterday so I don't know how long it will last and I don't know about the waterproof part of it yet but otherwise it seems to be a very good product

Although I haven’t used this particular Flex Seal product yet, I have used some of their products. I purchased this product as part of my emergency kit for my boat. I had another captain recommend this as an emergency fix just in case a “through hull fitting” breaks or starts to leak. Flex Seal Tape works under water so if a fitting breaks off or a leak appears while out at sea this tape can be applied as a temporary repair until you can get to port and do a more permanent repair. This could save your boat and possibly your life!

Just Ok. Seems to do a better job of sticking to itself than anything else.

We peeled off and cleaned any old sticky stuff from previous attempts to seal and ensured it would have good adhesion. It has been 8 months and so far, the shed hasn't leaked. I am curious as to how well this will hold up in the full sun but so far so good! Pliable, easy to cut, and once it sticks, it is hard to pull it up. So, make sure you put it where you want it!

Item DID NOT work on my pool (small tear was in curb area of my above ground pool) and DIDN'T stick and stay as was advertised (WITH OR WITHOUT WATER)!

* Update... it's still intact after 3 years! Would definitely recommend. I bought (in 2022)to hopefully seal a small Crack in my Jandy pool filter. I followed the simple directions. It's very sticky so first placement is everything. So far it has done the trick! Ran all summer with no leaks.
