I am a lifelong nail biter, cuticle peeler, and picker. I have relapsed many times. The only thing that has ever helped me is OPI Nail Envy. It's a little pricey, so I am ALWAYS on the hunt for a dupe or something similar for hopefully less $. I have to say, I really like this so far. I had it on for about one week after a bad relapse of biting. I love how I can apply very thin coats (it's very liquidy and thin, in a good way) and it actually dries pretty quickly. It smooths out my nails so that the edges don't catch on fabric and give me that feeling of ick I must pick or peel or bite (if you know, you know). Smooths them out, stays shiny, did not chip at all! As far as making my nails feel stronger, I am not sure yet because they are still very short. Nail Envy, after two coats usually makes my nails instantly feel strong yet still flexible and smooth so they don't break and I am not tempted to pick at them, so when my nails grow a little bit, I will update my review! So far, highly recommend!

Excellent product!!! Nothing works like NailTek!! I have always had very frail nails and I have tried countless products to strengthen my nails so they can actually grow and stop breaking so believe me when I tell you there is nothing out there better than NailTek! This “strengthening” NailTek product is amazing and the other one called “Nail Nutritionist 5 in 1 nail treatment” by NailTek also are the best thing to put on your fragile and thin nails to make them grow and be strong. 20 years ago NailTek used to be pricey, but they’ve lowered the price of these and they are very affordable now. If you pair this NailTek treatment with some good ole “hair and nails” vitamins, your nails will grow strong!

Super effective! I was using the Formula 3, having read “Strengthener” and thinking it was appropriate for me. But my nails became more brittle and peeling. I live in a very arid house and read that arid climates can call for the Formula 2. Two weeks in and my nails are no longer peeling, the ridges are smoothing, the horizontal bumps on my thumbs are lessening and I’m very happy with the results so far!

I’ve had this on for about a week and a half and I’m honestly surprised. My nails are very bendy, so I’m prone to breaks, and gel products usually don’t last on me because of that. I haven’t noticed a big change in nail strength yet, which might just be because I haven’t used it long enough. What surprised me is that none of my nails have broken as they’ve grown, and the product has actually stayed on. That’s never happened for me with any other product. It also cures super fast once applied. The only thing I’d love to see is a self-leveling formula, since it doesn’t look very smooth on the nails.

This Nail strengthener works really well. I use it as a basecoat and a topcoat. It really helps the manicure last.

I have used Nailtek 2 for many many years and have had great results BUT for some reason this last batch I purchased is not doing the way it should be. It's not helping my nails at all. If Nailtek has changed the ingredients please go back to your original.
