Perfect and worth it.
Don’t waste money buying an original sway bar and a bracket to adjust your OEM bar.Go buy this instead. Looks great, high quality parts and so easy to install.Instructions: keep all tires level with good shocks installed. So normal ride height for whatever application (height arrangement) you may have. Bolt passenger side up. Then adjust out until it lines up with the mount hole on the driver side. It should slide in easily and far enough in that you can screw the nut on a few threads.Tighten it all down then grease the zert fittings and you’re done.

Fixed Wobble
As the owner of a Jeep Wrangler TJ, I have had issues with a rather rough wobble when driving at highway speeds. This part definitely tightened up my steering and helped me get back to a smooth ride.

Fits my 2001 XJ Cherokee
About a year ago, I put a 2.5in lift on my 2001 XJ Cherokee 60th Anniversary edition. While the stock track bar seemed to work okay, I was noticing some uneven tire wear and was getting a front-end shake around 50-55mph. Using the stock track bar with a lift pulls the axle to the driver side a bit, so I picked up this adjustable track bar. It uses a tie-rod end that fits the tapered hole on the original factory bracket (others I’ve used replace the frame-side bracket to use a heim joint in a double-shear configuration, which would be stronger if you’re running significantly larger tires). In my case, this is a mild-build for a daily driver and I’m currently running 30in tires. This bar is much heavier than the original one, and everything seems to be well-built. The finish is nice, and the tie-rod end looks to be good quality. I think you could likely replace just the tie-rod end if it wears out (note that it has left-hand threads). It bolted right into place and fit the factory bracket well. My only complaints are that the bar itself could be a bit longer to allow more thread engagement (not sure why you’d need a bar that can adjust shorter than stock). Also, the grease zirk for the axle end snapped off while I was installing it, so I had to use a screw extractor to remove the part that was stuck in the hole and then put a new zirk one in. These are the reasons I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5.

Wrong bend at the tie rod end
The bar looks nice ,but noticed the bend was not the same as the bar I took off . Maybe meant for a different vehicle

Resolved my death wobble
The price of this track bar is affordable when compared to other brands I have used, which have cost me between $150 and $220.I have a 2000 XJ that came with a 3" add-a-leaf lift - not my favorite. I was experiencing death-wobble (if you know, you know) at speeds in excess of 50mph every time I hit a bump. In an attempt to resolve this I replaced the entire front suspension (and some needed parts in the rear) piece by piece including bent control arms to stop tire rubbing, a new track bar, and a duel steering stabilizer. While the front suspension felt super solid for the most part after that, I was still having death wobble after dumping over $4,000.00 into my XJ in parts. Not even mad about it, I want to have this Jeep as long as possible and would have needed to swap parts anyway over time. After a two years of driving carefully the current track bar's rubber bushing was wasted. I live in New England and drive my XJ in winter because the 4 wheel drive is fantastic, so this isn't uncommon. I contemplated that perhaps the track bar I had was not the right length and was contributing to the death wobble being unresolved., so wanted to try an adjustable when replacing to see if I could kill two birds with one stone. After installing this track bar, that assessment was correct. This was very easy to install and adjust to the length I needed it. The bar itself is pretty beefy and joints are good. Feels like a solid, quality part and compares well with parts I've received from Rough Country but at a more affordable price. Test drove it around town and then on the interstate at different speeds while hitting bumps - no more death wobble.Happy with this product and the price. Hope the poly bushing will hold up longer than the rubber bushings.
