GoSports LED Light Up Flying Ultimate Disc, 175 grams, with 4 Glow in the Dark LEDs (Blue, Red, White or Green)

My group tosses only Discraft Ultra-Star discs before the sun goes down, then at dark, we put on Beseen led lighted arm bands and switch to lighted discs. This GoSports disc was definitely bright and easy to see, and relatively good to toss (as far as lighted discs with battery packs in the bottom can be). We also tossed a Flashflight disc we had going at the same time, but the group all agreed the GoSports disc was preferable because it didn't have the ridges, and even though you can't do a spinning catch in the center due to the battery, you can do a little spin catch at the rim if you wanted to maneuver it up to an airbrush, though you don't do a whole lot of that type of thing in the dark. LOVE it, super, super bright at night and the colors are very vivid (have owned both green and blue) Only a few points off:1. (And more of a disclaimer) Water RESISTANT, not proof. My first disc fell into a pool and continued glowing, but then the batteries started to leak everywhere and ruined the lights.2. The cap falls off easily, You can try to tighten it more but the thread goes through sometimes due to it being a soft plastic. I was able to somewhat fix this by folding up some card stock and putting it right over the batteries, creating some pressure to have a tighter seal.3. My last one actually broke by being thrown at a high speed and hitting a goal post. The entire light fixture, bulb and batteries included popped right off. They seem to just be in place by a relatively strong adhesive but it can come off if hit/bent forcefully enough. Not to make it sound not durable at all, they can take a beating. But might want to put a little more crazy glue along the edges first.And lastly, it flies pretty well. The disc all in all is made of a pretty soft plastic and feels a little saggy (if i can put it that way?) and you can see it weigh down the flight just a tad. But it flies straight and far enough to be enjoyed, especially in the middle of the night on a pitch black field.

The first disc I received did not light up properly (first photo, showing a disc that lights up to about 1-2 meters and can't be seen in the dark past this distance). My first review gave it two stars.Amazon surprised me by completing an overseas shipment within4 days(!). The replacement disc lights up properly, the material feels great and I'm pleased with the product. I'm giving it 4 stars, will update after a few games.Second edit: Played with this disc a few times, updating to 5 stars. Lights up well and flies great.

Looks and feels nice and flies pretty well.A problem, though, is that it really does tend to turn off on impact. Especially if you're playing hard, you might find yourself having to fiddle with the battery cover. Or at least, that's what I had to do. It seems as though the problems aren't with the wiring but with the battery-holding part and the plastic twist-off cover. The cover is not very tight, so even with slight impacts, the batteries can lose connection easily. My workaround was to slip a folded piece of paper to keep the twist-off cover tight against the batteries. If you do it too tightly, you might find the light turning on too easily, but after doing this, there was a noticeable difference in the lighting response when I turned it on and off.If you play with it gingerly, it probably won't give you any problems, but who wants to play Ultimate like that, right? Its problems could be solved through slightly better materials and craftsmanship, but I don't know if the company will take those steps to better their product. For the price though, it does alright.

Disc flies great! The problem is that the light system sucks and the reason I purchased this disc was for the light up feature. When I first got the disc it worked great, but within a day the light would shut off whenever the disc hit the ground. Later that same day the screw on battery cap started to fall off randomly. A day after that, the light will not come on at all. Returned to Amazon for a refund. Amazon was great as always. Will NOT order again.

I play ultimate Frisbee weekly with a group of friends. We play at a local retention basin with poor lighting, so it's essential to have a light up disc to throw around. We've been through a few brands of discs and had settled on the Flashflight brand. However, due to bad throws, etc, the push button wears out every few months. The design of the GoSports disc is superior because the on/off switch, while still a push button, can be screwed on or off rather than pried off. Furthermore, the four LEDs put out a good amount of white light, which is important. We've been playing with a green light up disc because it stands out more, compared to blue or red. However, white is by far the best option. There is some flex in the top of the disc, but it's necessary because of the weight of the light in the middle. The plastic is softer than a standard ultimate disc, which makes it prone to scratching but softer to catch.Overall, I'm pleased with the construction of the disc. It is the proper weight, it is well designed and well thought out. I haven't yet been able to test if the greater amount of LEDs causes the batteries to run out more quickly, but I don't see it being a problem. A great purchase for some recreational night time ultimate!

Disc turned up and it was 185gram and not 175gram as specified in the description. The batteries were completely dead.

awesome disc is looking to extend you throwing time past dusk when viability of a normal disk would be difficult. LED lit up the clean plastic not only at centre but also the edges of the disc so it is fully visible even when the sun has set.

Mucho mejor que otras marcas que depende de cables para distribuir los leds, este tiene todo perfectamente conectado y mucho más resistente ante golpes (inevitablemente cae y se golpea), el peso está bien distribuido y es casi imperceptible la diferencia en el vuelo del disco contra uno ordinario (175g). Recomendado.

Lights up nicely for night frisbee.
