Great Value and comfort
Pompey Learninated Reviews - Grip Puppies Since owning my Vstrom and with it being a V-Twin it's has that lovely low down torque but with it is the natural vibration, and with using my amazing Oxford Products Ltd Heated grips on it i always added some thick foam grips on top which have worked great.... Now with the Mrs now having a Twin too (Honda CB500X) she noticed that Vibe too which did annoy her, so i recommended moving to the Grip Puppies original ones as they are more well made compared to my cheap £2.99 foam grips which were fat. Now she has been using them for a while and all been good for her, and with my bike going in for it's face lift last week i needed to pinch the mrs bike and trying the proper puppies really made a difference i found in comfort and thickness over my cheap one, so i decided i should also upgrade mine. Well since having them installed i can say i am so impressed how much better these are over cheap foam ones, they are more thicker and rubbery so they work so much better and give less squish over the foam style ones. The vibration side is so much less using the grip puppies and they just feel so much more comfy compared to the older ones. They are a must have i will say, and even with heated grips they work fine and the heat still comes through with no issues, just takes a few moments more to heat up that's all. To fit you simply wet inside with some soapy water and slide on – takes all of 2 minutes start to finish and mine do not slip at all once fitted. Bought mine from Amazon for £14, and will say worth every penny.

Really improves overall feel of bike
Takes a while to get used to but significantly reduces vibration and increased grip size is good for larger hands.

not sure they make any difference
ok, so to fit them, i poured a little boiling water form a kettle inside. This worked well, getting them half way onto my vzr1800bz / M109r. I then rolled it back a little (like a condom!) and poured hot water on again. worked like a charm and they were fitted. Ive beenj on a couple of (short) rides since theyve been fitted. I really dont seem to feel any difference at all. Maybe ill get it with a longer journey...but short half hour jorneys, ive been thinking 'emperors new clothes'

Not very effective other than increasing the bar radius.
They do very little to alleviate the pain from clip on bars on a sports bike, no noticeable dampening of vibration either. The most useful thing I found about them is the grips fit my hands a little better as 7/8 inch bars are too skinny for my big hands so these make them feel more like inch bars which is helpful. Maybe I’m just cheap but £15 for a couple of bits of cheap foam feels expensive. I’m not slating them as a concept, from the reviews they seemed to have worked for some people just not particularly effective for me.

Just not for me!
Straight away I wasn't a fan. I felt less throttle control, maybe I'd have gotten used to it but it wasn't worth it. Just not the comfort i had hoped for. Too bulky!

Comfortable.
Had these on all my motorcycles, hard to fit but worth it.

Not good!!!
Very easy to slip over grips however they are expensive. Once fitted they made my grips too big so they was uncomfortable. Expensive for what they are. I purchased propper foam grips for less than half the cost.
