This was an amazing generator and works exactly as I expected, it provided a strong power and I enjoy that it is safe to use with my electronics since I used my computer. It starts easily and runs really really smooth so the quiet operation for me is a huge plus. Compared to other generators this one is much much quieter which makes it perfect for me when I go camping. This is great is not too heavy so moving it around is simple and it doesn't use too much fuel which helps me save more money so in my opinion this was a great purchase for me.

This device was bought prior to a camping trip and it has totally changed my experience with outdoor activities. I am no concerned anymore with being careful about the equipment used of the possibility that the battery banks will function or not. This generator operates all devices from lights to mini fridge and it is not noisy to disrupt the mood of camping which was my biggest concern before purchasing this generator. To me, the best feature of this device is that it can operate on gas as well as propane fuel sources. Having this dual capability makes operation more flexible. For example, during emergencies, if a gas stations are unavailable or there are lines that go on forever, it helps to be able to switch to another fuel source. Another reason is that propane fuel can be stored for a longer time than gasoline. Another great thing I love about this generator is its ECO mode that substantially extends working time and decreases the costs related to fuel if the load on the appliance is low. It is not difficult to start the generator and use it for power supply. I have tested it on powering household devices, a refrigerator, and even an air conditioner. The delivered kit also really comes in handy, especially as it makes you prepared for right from the very beginning since you can do maintenance work yourself right away without having to buy anything else. Definitely high quality and simple operation panel. An excellent choice for camping trips.

Don’t Buy!! Please read before spending your money. Item is not returnable, amazon Cs can’t do anything for you. 3 months used 4 times and unit started to turn off when using any type of load, then didn’t even turn on. Pull cord broke trying to start it, cheap quality, no customer service at all.

The Erayak 4500w generator was delivered very quickly. I have used it for a week now and it has performed great! It is a bit louder than the past 4500 watt generators I've had when the econ mode is off and carrying a big load but very quiet when econ mode is on. Because it is around 55-60lbs., it is easy to haul around. One thing I would tell anyone is that make sure you turn the gas cap knob to the "on" position when starting it. I will not start if you don't release the pressure in the gas tank. And if it doesn't start, take the gas cap off then put it back on. It will start after that.

Picked this up to use as backup power for my house and for some mobile work setups, and so far the Erayak 4500P has held up really well. First impression out of the box: it feels solid, way more compact than I expected for a 4500W peak / 3500W running unit. Setup was honestly straightforward — added oil and gas, pulled the choke, and it fired up on the second pull. No weird smells, no smoke after the initial break-in. Power output has been clean. I ran a small fridge, a couple of fans, phone chargers, and even tested it with a power tool, and it didn’t bog down or stutter. The inverter tech makes a real difference compared to older open-frame generators I’ve used — it’s noticeably quieter, more like a loud window AC than a lawnmower. Fuel economy seems decent too. On eco mode I’ve been getting solid runtime on a single tank for lighter loads. The outlet panel is well laid out with two 120V outlets, USB ports, and a 30A RV-style plug, which is nice for flexibility. Excellente génératrice 4500w. Ondulateur portable, pour tes loisirs, camping. Un format facile à trimbaler un peu partout en forêt Ou même sur l'eau. Très grande puissance, peut charger ton cell quand tu n'as pas d'électricité, consomme peu d'essence, lumière intégrée. Pris usb, 12v, 120v. Elle est muni d'un système de silencieux lui permettant de diminuer le bruit pour les autres campeur autour. Utilité vraiment simple, très bien indiqué sur le livre d'instruction et sur la génératrice elle-même. Il ya un mode regulier, un mode double puissance si jamais tu veux faire fonctionner plusieurs électro en même temps, et il y a aussi le mode écono te permettant ainsi de régulariser l'utilisation du power et économiser sur l'essence dans le réservoir. Je suis vraiment surprise de son efficacité, elle pèse moins 52lbs et à vraiment une bonne puissance. Elle m'offre un backup si jamais je suis mal prise en nature loin de la civilisation.

We have now used our new Erayak Generator for spring and summer motor-homing (that is - in very cool and very hot Canadian conditions.) and are very pleased. The extra power over other portables permits us to run our 15,000 BTU air conditioner, microwave, fridge and even our house battery charger simultaneously with ease. The unit is very simple to operate. Starts easily, usually with 3 or 4 pulls. Easy to lift off our rear rack and move around (even with my bad back). I can't measure the sound level precisely - but we have walked around the campgrounds and compared our Erayak to other generators and find that ours is generally the quietest. That we can store it inside over the winter is a big plus over our previous in-board generator. Very competitively priced, too. A big bonus that we weren't expecting is the superb customer service provided by the Erayak team - prompt, courteous and attentive. They are proud of their excellent product and want their customers to be glad they chose Erayak. We certainly are!

Updated review: Note that the Dual Fuel version does NOT have an "eco mode" function, despite being advertised as such (see picture/screenshot). Also, it doesn't have the built in cigarette lighter/battery charger clamps that the gas one does. Disappointed that this doesn't have the eco mode, as it made the unit noticeably quieter (not whisper quiet by any means, but quietER) ... but it's still a good unit. Starts on first pull, easy to use, and relatively cheap. I "upgraded" to the dual fuel version of this generator primarily to be able to use propane as the primary fuel source. I have a diesel pickup and my camper has room for 2 x 20lb propane tanks and uses very little propane, so being able to ditch the gasoline jerry can and free up some storage space was appealing. We didn't use the A/C at all during our trips this year, and mainly used this to run a food saver or as backup power. It's still got a roomy built in gas tanks if we're ever in really hot weather, but otherwise this should meet our needs going forward. Original review: The 4500W gas version started on the first pull and runs my 13,500 BTU camper A/C unit, which is the primary reason I purchased this. It *did* overload the first time I switched on the A/C, with nothing else running, but maybe I didn't let it warm up long enough. Started and ran the A/C no problem the next time. I don't have a soft start, and my understanding is you need something with around this wattage to start this size A/C. The generator is lightweight and easily maneuverable, but pretty loud in "turbo" mode (i.e. when not in eco mode). Eco mode is pretty quiet. That said, I don't really have a frame of reference, as it's my first gennie. From what I've heard at campsites they are usually pretty noisy. I appreciate the little accessory bag that comes with it, and the accessories (spare spark plug, battery clamps, etc). Nice little touch. Seems like a good value. Let's see how it holds up!

Brand new, out of the box. I followed instructions and filled with fresh oil as per specifications. Filled with mid grade gasoline. It needed 4 or 5 pulls to start and it runs like a bag of crap and produce 0.2 V and I’m being told it’s not returnable… it doesn’t even work! 🤬

I love my new 4500P generator so much I ordered an another one, now I’m going to run them in Parallel when I buy the Parallel kit. Easy setup just put oil in and Fuel ⛽️ Mine started on first pull, I broke in the engine about 11 hours, then I changed the oil to 10w-30 Synthetic oil for where I live. You can use 87 octane, but I prefer and recommend Premium Fuel it’s a much cleaner Fuel and in the long run less headaches. And it is a very quiet generator in my opinion. All in all, I’m very pleased and impressed with this generator. I recommend this generator. Merry Christmas to all 🎅
