After reviewing lot of products on Amazon, I purchased this product in the month of Sep-24. My usage was very minimal as I generally used it during my evening walk. By July 25, the issue started. One of the earbud stopped charging. Also It kept connecting to the phone even if it is put back into the charging case. I tried doing factory reset, but it did not work. Since it was still under warranty, I finally contacted Boat customer care. I was very happy that they promptly responded and got the product collected from my doorstep. After verification of the issue, they sent me a replacement unit (same). So far it was a very happy scenario. But then came the shocker. After hardly using for a month, the new replacement unit again started having the same problem. By that time it was Oct 25 which means out of the original warranty period. I contacted customer again with the hope that they will be very concerned why the same problem started in the replacement unit. But instead of that they simply washed their hand stating that now it is out of warranty and they cannot do anything. It is not a cheap product compared to so many earbuds available in the market, but for some reason I feel it had some engineering issue. I dont understand why a company like Boat focuses on manufacturing so many models rather than focusing on quality of their product. So I wasted my money on a product that has some design fault. Feel cheated. It is now not possible to trust Boat and I am sure next time I buy a earbud, I will look for other manufactures. Just wanted to alert any potential buyer about the issues I faced so that they take a informed decision when selecting this product.

Have used this for 6 months now. Battery life is not great at all. I get maximum 4-5 hours right from the day I purchased. Even less. My old boAt 121v2 airdopes, which I bought in 2021, still work better for me with 6-8 hours battery life. My boAt Rockerz 330 gave me ~10 hours battery for 2-3 years as well. This is a downgrade. The ANC is okay. I guess can't expect much at this price point. I am not an audiophile, but to me the sound quality, bass etc. seems good. Call quality also has been decent. I say it's badly engineered, not just because of the terrible battery life, but also: 1. The auto start-sop feature is so scuffed. By default it's on, which I think is a poor choice. And even if you turn the feature off, it will still sometime auto stop/start the video with in-ear action. 2. The volume always starts off at the max 100%, so every time you have to use the earphones, you have to play this stupid game of turning down the volume manually before putting it in your ears, or risk eardrum damage.

I've been using the Boat Buds for a few weeks now, and they’ve proven to be a solid choice in the budget wireless earbuds category. The sound quality is surprisingly rich for the price, with decent bass and clear vocals—perfect for everyday music listening and calls. The design is compact and lightweight, making them comfortable to wear for long periods. The touch controls are responsive, though they can be a bit sensitive at times. Battery life is commendable, easily lasting 4–5 hours on a single charge, with the case offering a few additional charges. One downside is that the noise isolation isn’t top-tier, especially in noisy environments. Also, while the mic works well indoors, it struggles a bit outdoors or in windy conditions. Pros: Affordable and great value Good sound quality for casual use Lightweight and comfortable Reliable Bluetooth connectivity

I bought boAt Airdopes 280 ANC after saving money with high expectations. The earbuds were handled very carefully — no drops, no water damage, only original brand charger used. Shockingly, within just 9 months, the charging case battery swelled up and failed. Service centre blamed “over-voltage charging” without any proof and refused warranty. If an original fast charger can destroy the product, then the product design itself is unsafe. Cheap earbuds I used earlier lasted 3+ years, but this premium-priced product failed in months. This shows poor battery quality and weak protection circuits. Not recommended. Look elsewhere if you value durability and your hard-earned money.
