Okay, not that kids can’t play with it, but I have a feeling if I had any, they’d never put it down and I’d lose my marbles.I got this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he was excited when he opened the package. Like a little kid almost! He likes to play with it from time to time, but he’s not serious about making music with it. It’s a fun toy! Tbh, I was determined to try and figure out the Star Wars into on it and I came SO CLOSE… just one note off.But yeah, if you gave it to a kid, you’d never hear the end of it. Safer in adult hands. ;)

The Kirby Otamatone is super cute and a lot of fun. It's surprisingly sturdy and has an interesting sound. I can tell it'll take me a while to learn to play it properly, so it's something fun and amusing to do in my spare time. It comes with a chart of where to put the fingers to produce certain notes. It's suitable for young and old alike. It's definitely giftable and a good value for the money. It takes 3 AAA batteries and will need a screwdriver to get the battery compartment open. Two thumbs up!

I bought this for my 12 year old (at his request) and he immediately figured it out and sound song tutorials on YouTube. My dogs aren’t fans of this but now my husband is hooked and bought himself one. Now we have concerts with the two of them every night. Overall, this is a cute device that is fun for all ages.
