I purchased this for wearing in summer over my armoured hoodie.Ventilated inner liner has zip openings for easy access to sew on patches front and back.Also possible to insert back protector or custom armour..Hand warmer pockets are not thermal lined and having stud closures are not practical for holding smaller items securely.This is probably the best vest I have ever worn and well worth the price
