The backlighting is awesome and my grandkids liked it alot! Great update from when I was a kid.

A fascinating VM knockoff, with illumination!
These are the latest iteration of VM technology. The plastic housing is first rate. The lenses are poor quality, and I'll be replacing them with achromats. The mechanicals are questionable, but the LED lighting is pretty good. (Be careful here, because some of these viewers do •not• have lighting-- you need to see "LED" in the advert listing.) In terms of images, there are a few actual stereoscopic images, intermixed with a bunch of poorly done 2D to 3D grayscale builds. Figure on throwing away the reels, lol!

Nice toy
This toy functions perfectly, and my son loves the built-in light, which allows for playtime even in the dark.

Great fun!
Got this for my husband to use with his old KISS view master reels without needing to stare at a lamp. He LOVES it! Brought him back to being a kid each time he uses it!
