Excellent proving baskets. Just right for dough made with 500g of flour- so perhaps 800-850g of finished dough. The linen liners are good, as they can be heavily floured to avoid the dough sticking and then easily washed out and dried for future use. All works well even with a sticky sourdough bread.

Standard proofing basket. Nice size for a bloomer or similar loaf.

The basket comes with a linen cover and a plastic dough scraper. The banneton is well put together but is 1cm shorter than stated so it lost a star for that. The dough scraper is extremely useful for scraping sticky dough cleanly out of bowls without damaging the dough - you cannot use a metallic one for this purpose it will damage the bowl. I covered the linen with rice flour and the dough popped out cleanly from the banneton.

This was a gift for a very keen bread maker and from the photos I’ve been sent it has not only been well received, but the bread baked was a great success. I’ve yet to be allowed to taste the final product though!

It does the job but price seems a bit steep at £20

This banneton has allowed me to make some good bread, it took a few uses before the dough stopped sticking but I have enjoyed using it a great deal! The linnen cover is great and works well, as does the scraper! A great all in one starter kit for those of us starting out!

Gives a nice shape to the dough, I need to use more flour in the basket as my first go the dough stuck to the cloth, basket is well made.

Well made and easy to use. Did not even have trouble removing the dough the first time I used it. Works a treat with Sourdough. Would highly recommend.
